  • Question: I am watching the Foal Training videos, but since I am getting my filly when she’s already 5 months old, she is already leading pretty well. I am doing the Touch and Rub: Yield the Hindquarters exercise. When she is trying to walk forward towards me, but she doesn’t stop or she gets a little anxious and walks circles around me, should I stop her? Or, if she wants to go, should I push her and make her feet move until she wants to stand still?

I have a question, from what age can you work on these exercises with the foal? My mare is going to give birth soon. Thank you.

i would recommend starting as soon as possible! it gets harder to start the longer you wait.
