What to say about Ghajl -e-badshah!! His voice is so smooth, silky and a particular which makes him totally different from all other singers of his era. Although his all songs are so melodious but this collection by Saregama is superb. The era of this great singer was also very rich in terms of music 🎶. Credit goes to great musicians and lyricist also the then period.
I m 75 I started listening to Talat Saab when I was 10 my elder brothers and his friends formed a Talat Fan group and we collected all his songs on 78 records mainly from chor bazzar Mumbai then during 70s we started attending his live program at the Birla sabhagruh of Bombay Hospital. Incidentally Talats daughter was known to me so during intervals of his program we used to meet him backstage enjoying Tea with him .He was a Smoker inspite of that he could maintain his silky voice
He does not deliver poetry alone , using his gifted manly melodious but unique voice Talat draws picture of the words in all his songs . He is an incomparable singer so far . 🌲🌲🌹🌲🌲
