I bought the Coconut Oil one a few weeks back and I love it. It gives so much definition and doesn't flake for my hair(bare in mind every Eco gel flakes my hair). I would highly recommend it and I definitely want to try the Castor Oil one.
Wow, I love this review and demo. I really loved the results you got from both these products!!! I would love to see an in depth review on both these please!! Thanks and until next time , love
Hey Mary! Thanks so much for your video. I always enjoy your posts! Yes Ma'am, I would LOVE to see you do a wash-n-go with both the new products! Blessings and Aloha!
I would love you to do a wash and go with both of these products. Your hair looks lovely. I would like to have a go with these products after I have seen you do a wash and go.💘💘
I know it appears that way, but it is partly due to lighting, the lighting is brighter on one side so it appears that way on camera. But when I checked in more even lighting, the effect was essentially the same.
New Since! coming up on my 1yr anniversary was watching your hair journey u just gave me hope to not go back to a relaxer 😙 Love your curls can't wait til mine reach that length!
I Looooove the coconut oil gel but have yet to see the black castor/flaxseed. thanks for sharing your first impressions. BTW, I feel like you have more definition with the castor/flax gel
Thank you! I know it appears that way, but it is partly due to lighting, the lighting is brighter on one side so it appears that way on camera. But when I checked in more even lighting, the effect was essentially the same.
Yay! First to comment! I was literally just wondering about these and hoping for a review and voila...my wish came true! I usually use the Argan Oil one but I'll give them a try. Blessings x
Love this video. Just wish I had your hair. My transition has just begun so my ends are still straight. Scalp itch is driving me crazy. Denver altitude and dryness make it worse. Hair care products can be hard to find in Denver, but I found the coconut oil ECO Style for $1.99 and 100% more free! Just to practice, I rolled my hair w/it and was pleased. The style, however did not last beyond that day.
Honeybun Productions If you don't already have them, you'll probably be able to find them at 7 mile. They sell huge tubs of both. Or you can get the overpriced version offline. Whichever floats your boat. :P
Honeybun Productions Same here, lol. I bought a tiny one for my future step mom to find out and a big one for my own hair. The coconut oil gel is always in stock and almost always has the huge one's on the shelves. I want to buy them all for no apparent reason.
Hi did you find the flaxseed /castor oil product drying once on. does it also contain the information ingredient alcohol denatured? if it does like the others eco stylers will be drying. please tell😊
To my knowledge, none of the Eco Style gels have alcohol denat. in them. None of the ones that I do have it in (Coconut, Argan, Black Castor) - it can be drying but that's just because gels tend to be drying on my hair overall, especially if I don't use a moisturising leave-in. I hope that helps :)
The Curly Closet thanks I have the olive oil which I discontinued because it made my hair feel like hay even with a leave in conditioner. Needless to say I stopped using it. Will look out for it in the shops
Type 3 and 4 hair includes women with naturally curly hair. My hair is a mix of 3C, 4A, 4B and 4C hair, so generally I identify with type 4 hair (hair typing systems are not perfect anyway). But this gel can be used by anyone for whatever purpose they like, whether defining their curls or slicking their hair down. On this channel I only show tutorials using my own hair, I don't feature others, so if you'd like to see other hair types, you will have to search for those via RUclips.
Sometimes in the UK it takes time for certain US products to arrive in the shops, and plus I've been extra busy so I just decided to order it online and save myself a wasted journey. :)
It works on any hair type to make your hair clump together or to slick down your hair. If your hair is naturally curly then it helps to clump and define your curls. But it can't make your hair curly, no.
I agree that it looks that way on camera, but that is due to my lighting set up - one side of my hair looks brighter because of it. However, when I looked at my hair in more even lighting, it was pretty much the same. :)
I think I like the castor oil side better although you did say the the coconut side wasn't as moisturizer as the castor oil side. I think I want to try both on my hair to see which works better. Please visit my channel and give me suggestions for my hair. Thanks for sharing.

No I don't want to see no wash and go from yuh! 😳😑 I'm jokin yes pleeease😄😄 for some reason though I'm feeling the BCO side a little more but nevertheless another banger from Mary loved it🤗
It all depends on what you like, I prefer gentle so I prefer the coconut oil one. But some people really love the Castor Oil smell, as it's more perfume-like.
Would you like me to test out these products on a wash and go / ultra defined coils style? Comment below!

No flaking? Excellent! I know that flaking can also depend on what leave-in/conditioner you use :)

So this is for those who have naturally curly hair. Not for type 3's and 4's. Please explain. I would like to those with other type hair. Thanks

Hey - how much was the castor oil gel? And is it thick it looks it..
In the UK it cost £5.50 + free postage. All links in the description box :)
The Curly Closet oh I thought you got it from the shop.
Sometimes in the UK it takes time for certain US products to arrive in the shops, and plus I've been extra busy so I just decided to order it online and save myself a wasted journey. :)
The Curly Closet oh is it? Okay. Thanks
Is it for only for curly hair does it make your hair curly

I love your but the black castor oil looks shiner and more definition to me. Yessss, you are working it though..lol
