I like Mahito because he was literally born to be evil. No backstory flashbacks or planned redemption arcs, only philosophical and self-artistic perception of reality. A creature born from the flaws and hatred of mankind.
@@sunnyboy2649 it fits the world of Jujutsu Kaisen well. His existance is understandable and he is also the message that says Humanity have grown corrupted rapidly considering he is still young yet such powerful curse. It's a strong message if you ask me. His action and mind reflect the source that gives into his birth. You don't need background for Mahito since the reason he exist is because the negativity throughout human history.
@@sunnyboy2649 Not true at all, there are many factors that make a good villain. One thing I noitced is that people have the mentality that a good villain needs a proper background, deep motivation ect., but those people forget the most 2 important things that make a Villain good. He 1. needs to fit into the worldbuilding which Mahito 100% does AND 2. he needs to make u feel absolute hatred towards him, so u in turn end up rooting for the Protagonist. Mahito does both those 2 points at the same time in the sense that he fits into the world by being that Mirror to Humankinds evil side (therefore being born as a curse) and he also makes u hate him by his sick actions and mindset which at the same time reflects his origin as the human mind without morals and rules, basically a free Human mind withour ANY restrictions which make us "human" in the first place. I absolutly love it :D
That's because most versions of shapeshifting we see are is more like morphing: the ability to change one's self from a person into another specific creature. Mahito is a true shapeshifter - someone with complete control over nearly every aspect of his physical body - and this is how terrifying that concept is when taken to its full potential.
"I bet I could do it now" Love it. This anime/manga came outta nowhere and made me fall in love with it haha. First time in awhile I've liked a Shonen main protagonist but Yuji is excellent.
I agree. Shonen protagonists have a habit of being unbearably annoying and unrealistic. Honestly, the only Shonen main character/protagonist I have honestly liked consistently throughout their entire run (like personality/character wise) have been Ichigo and Yuji. I also liked Killua, but I'm not sure if both he and Gon are considered the mc of HxH, or just Gon Some main characters are so unbearable for me, I can't even finish the anime lol. Like goddamn Black Clover with Asta
@@isaiah9666 Hi. Sorry to be a bother, but You should probably give black clover another try. I kill humans indiscriminately and you kill curses indiscriminately" Hinting and saying no matter their justifications the other is a vilain to each person because they fight for different reasons. Mahito is evil.... if you're human. However mahito is Itadori if you're a curse and itadori is what mahito is to JJK sorcerers/humans
Frrrr Pure evil villains are so good when done well and I’m tired of people pretending they aren’t Like pure evil villains are fun, when done right they’re menacing and fun to watch. You feel a sense of dread but you enjoy watching it. A pure evil villain can be used to elevate sympathetic villains in the same story
I just want to point out that RUclips considers this OST motivational content because my recommended videos had "how to be the best version of yourself" and had this video's thumbnail beside it
Because it is, Mahito's whole thing is to keep evolving into your best version. The problem is that his best version is a monster of chaos and destruction XD
No offenyJJK without Mahito was more like a comedy show in Season 1 and even in Shibuya, Mahito carried hard like the perfect villain he is. Hands down the Best JJK villain.
@@Aki...544I think this comes from a misconception. Nobody ever tried. If Sukuna didn't healed Junpei, it's because he had no reason to because he already had a pact with Yuji, something that Mahito didn't knew, that's why he assumed you can't heal from it. The truth is, because you can protect your soul with Cursed Energy, it's likely you can heal it with Reversed cursed energy, but Mahito never fought someone capable of that
@@lebulldog6757 It was also mentioned again later how Sukuna didn't heal Junpei. It might be possible, but it's likely not. You can protect your soul with cursed energy, like you can protect yourself with amplification, but it's never said you can directly interact or alter the soul. That is pretty much exclusive of Mahito's technique.
Spoilers Well the most remarkable thing about him in terms of power is his potential. He would have likely become the strongest disaster curse if he wasn't defeated by yuji at shibuya, possibly a sukuna level curse if given enough time
Mahito had the potential to be a curse that could have been equal to 19 finger sukuna, because he was the only curse that could manipulate and damage the soul which In jjk is insane because not even sukuna can damage the soul or manipulate it but Yuji killed him in shibuya after a rather fierce fight.
People talk about how Mahito is a good villain even if he doesn't have a backstory or a motive, but they forget something... What makes a good villain, is their actions
Let's just put "self-embodiment of perfection" into perspective here. The main theme of jujutsu kaisen is the importance of selfishness, not just gojo but sukuna is described as being "enlightened" for having such massive egos. This means that to gege, mahito's pure evil is the embodiment of "perfection" since it embodies the show's themes perfectly. Hence why he also has the most potential of any other character
He is a very brutally merciless person....it takes a lot of creativity to write Mahito's storyline.... undoubtedly one of the most formidable bosses in jjk....his domain expansion is too terrifying...truly the stuff of nightmares and oddly nice to watch and hear....excellent job by jjk team
The song obviously sounds very creepy and menancingly, but you know what is my favorite part? when it reaches the drop, it sounds both thrilling, childish, and distorted. And it defines the character well. - He acts and fight like a child having fun as well as toying with people. - His power is to literally DISTORT life and souls. Turning them into whatever he wants but he personally prefer to made them into ugly monsters who suffer to just breath. - And the thrilling part, is my favorite because either by manipulating you through his words or directly fighting, he either way just need to touch you ONCE to take the win And also, in either way, manipulating or fighting, 1:30 He is coming for you.

This song showed up in my ‘my mix’ playlist, I didn’t read the title, and now I’m realising it’s an extended version, the transition is smoother than butter
I airdropped this to my school’s announcement systems, then 10 seconds later I just hear some kid saying “I truly am a curse” in the hallways. And another 10 seconds after that, i hear another kid saying “I’m you”.
I am ready to hear this theme again in the next few months oh boy after that *scene* gets animated this guy will probably become the most hated character in the entire JJK community. The fans, reactors, manga readers and myself aren't ready.
The purely evil villain trope doesn’t have to be bad. JJK is an excellent example of it. I’ll actually miss Mahito’s opposing view, but I know the series will introduce more characters to make up for him.

Holy shit 😂
@@brunoronchetti718 ahahhaahahhahah bro im crying 😂😂😂😂
I am ready to hear this theme again in the next few months oh boy after that *scene* gets animated this guy will probably become the most hated character in the entire JJK community. The fans, reactors, manga readers and myself aren't ready.
SPOILER: you talking about Nanami's death?
@@lucashubbard5998i think that, and eye scene 👀
@@lucashubbard5998 I believe he is talking about mahito's true form
No way, Mahito was just like, “fuck it man” and activated his domain
This is forcing me to watch JJK again🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
This really catches the essence of getting beaten up by a teenager and a salaryman at school
The purely evil villain trope doesn’t have to be bad. JJK is an excellent example of it. I’ll actually miss Mahito’s opposing view, but I know the series will introduce more characters to make up for him.
his domain theme especially around the last quarter of the song is giving heavy “your cooked pal” vibes
The Domain was Fire
The way it was animated was just 😘
