As expected of a second-last boss, KT seems like a much bigger challenge (at least on paper) than all the previous bosses. Can't wait to see the wipe count for the world first kill
Is this a raid guide for the Archlich of Naxxramas? Lich Lord of the Plaguelands, Commander of the Dread Necropolis? Master and founder of the Cult of the Damned? Formerly of the Council of Six... Summoner of Archimonde the Defiler? The Betrayer of Humanity? Hearthstone Enthusiast, and Majordomo to the Lich King himself, Kel''Thu-freaking-zad?!
Hi love your vids. Doing this now on TWW and can easily drop the bosses I beat him first stage then teleports to other area then immediately teleports back and counldnt fight. it just starts the whole thing over. Any advice?
Just adding that the debuff you get at Remnant of KT only lasts for about a minute on heroic, meaning you can send the same people down for all phases. On heroic, transitions are 60 and 20% health. I guess it's a mechanic implemented to avoid cheesing with the glacial spikes.
I don't think Soul Marked works as you described. I believe it's intended to prevent people from leaving and rejoining to reset Sinister Miasma debuffs. So like it was on PTR I don't expect the buff to be permanent or significantly longer than the phase length. This would mean you can send the same group every time.
People say Destiny is dead yet Destiny raid videos always have 100x more boss fight vids and guides than WOW. You can barely even find one or two vids on this topic for WoW.
Ah, I was wondering if his new raid fight would be anything like his previous Naxx raid appearances. Kinda sad that there are no callbacks to them. At least IMO!
Never understood why the liches in WoW almost always keep their phylactery on them... like you could put it anywhere to keep it safe, and you just leave it in your back pocket. Wouldn't work out for the plot for them to actually make smart decisions, I guess.
Makes sense considering that most liches in wow are arrogant pricks that think they are undefeatable and allpowerful, so of course theyll keep it on them so they can protect it.
@@camaradacomissario9641 That's a semantic. When people say "kick", they mean interrupt. Whatever your class/spec interrupt is, use that in place of kick.
What was the Arbiter thinking sending this fool to serve in the armies of Maldraxxus in the first place? If not the Maw he should have at least been sent to Revendreth to be tortured *cough* i mean to "seek redemption". Of Crouse KT is AGAIN involved in some shady mess that we have to clean up.... *sigh*,

How is everyone thinking this is going to be difficult? It's like the one boss I understand the mechanics of. If it's overtuned then of course, but as far as I'm aware it's all pretty simple stuff. Nuke adds, don't stand in shit and try not to die.
The tank mechanic with the 3 soul fragments, coordinating the ice spike destruction, and the soak of the big icicle are all quite challenging to coordinate, but we got the hang of it fairly quickly. That add phase is brutal. It may not seem like it, but we would basically lose everyone in testing there and when we made it to kelthuzad 2 a couple times, the overlaps were brutal and once you lose people you'll start getting feared, stunned, frozen, silenced, etc. From the mind control players which added a ton of difficult randomness to the fight. (For the record, when mind controlled I did a lot of portal summoning and freezing of enemies. It was hysterical, but also made it more difficult.)

Yeah and they are not using the original voice actor.
@@gutspillage yes they are
seems like a tough fight

I sense many wipes in KT's future.
Why? You think players will be shitting themselves a lot? It doesn’t look that scary to me.
It isn’t that bad
I'm hoping this is one if those fights that sounds hard, but when you do it it's not too bad. Key word "hoping" lol
You can see Kel it's an old character.
It's a mage that goes oom.
Hazel: "My advice to you is ... not die" :)
I think the dps race between the phylactery group and the ads is gonna be a real pain point
Hazel: How many mechanics do you have?
KT: yes
Great guide as always !
Thank you so much for your videos, Hazelnutty. Fantastic explanations and good info!
4:24 What just happened there? It looked like that frost projectile from the boss blinked to your left and then back again just to evade you?
I was about to leave without commenting, but then I saw the squirrel ...
Hazel, if I can give a tip/suggestion; please advice when you would think using Time warp like abilities is a good idea.
Thank you for the very concise video. Appreciate it.
Ooof so many things!
Yikes... this one seems really tough

Naxxramas was merely a setback

idk those abomination and banshee adds will cause plenty of ptsd.
The debuff of the down group on heroic is supposedly 30s so you dont really need different phylactery groups
good guide, but wheres the guide for naxxramas

I remember there was a lich in Northrend that hid his phylactery beneath a lake but eventually we found it

Does he drop the hungering cold though? That is the question
Yes
well looks like mythic/heroic/normal is out of the question for me i guess its time to wait for raid finder impossible for ppl like me to do this
This kid always comes back after 4 deaths
Damn. That's a lot
What if you don't have a kick? We DKs have no kick abilities.
Mind freeze?
Mind Freeze is an interupt, kick is the rogue's interupt. Pummel is the warrior's and so on.
@@keira691 mind freeze is not kick, it's more a punch.

What gave you the idea that the Arbiter sent him there? He must’ve been sent to the maw and found a way to get to Maldraxxus.
It's implied that he never actually died and therefore was not sorted by the Arbiter, he made his way to the Maw himself to serve the Jailer.

i love how this girls videos just show them shamelessly wiping on normal mode and yet it's a guide. Kind of makes me skeptical lol
