The first one nailed it, very neat and clear.

As with many of these types of competitions, you tend to want to pick and choose parts from each of the entries to make the perfect home page.

Moral of the story "Always follow the clients requirements then design based on that"🙈 great series - New presenter alert, very professional, keep up the good work

First one was definitely the best.

I usually prefer just adding contact nav rather than dumping up phone numbers on the screen, especially for the fact that phone numbers can easily be inserted on the footer. So if client's wanna reach out via call, they know where to find it. Most websites have phone numbers on the footer. And the contact button is easy to access.
Those are usually my preferences and many of these designers have done that job perfectly.

Great series! I disagree with the ratings for long testimonials given who the customers are. Government agencies likes schools & rec centers tend to write longer reviews. Also government agencies tend to need more information when making budget purchase decisions. Other than that loved the breakdown and all of them did great. My personal fave was number 1 l, but I do agree the phone number should be at the top.

Why would someone get a 2/5 on something if they completely forgotten it.

Great video but I don't agree with your rating system. The first design clearly nailed all the fundamentals of a great design but she lost it just because she didn't have a phone number at the top. That's just stupid.

I feel all designs lack the "shade" in their design aesthetics. I was looking for a visual representation of shades spread out in the layout or any design elements (e.g. buttons). Nevertheless, great designs!!

Eh, not a big fan of shading myself. Material design is nice in concept but I find it’s rarely done well

Video is above average as compared to the other stuff on the channel. I don't agree with the rating system. The first design did nailed it in terms of following all the client requirements. But the overall ui looks like a template. On the other hand other designs did use creativity but tgey were lacking in one place or other. The last design in my view was the best in terms of creativity and following the guidelines. The use of color psychology and in terms of typography. He did a fine job there. Only thing missing there was the newsletter as you said..

I mean number 1 did have a massive contact us button at the top… that’s just as good as a number 5/5

While judging Rezaul Haque's submission, Izzy clearly missed that he had already given the contact information on the footer of his design. It was right there at 16:44. I think a 4/5 should've been more deserving. But I kind of go with Izzy because if the client doesn't scroll to the bottom of the page, he/she would never get to know the contact number so, that was essential in my POV. But I liked the color choice and the subtle use of oversized typography for a change. Overall, the aesthetics were pleasing.

BE WARNED: One of the designers mentioned in this video should be avoided at all cost. His name is Eli Alcaraz. We’ve discovered that Eli Alcaraz is very discriminatory in dealing with “women-owned” businesses. He apparently has a history of this discrimination and denial of his services to women. We will continue to share more on these platforms as we learn more. Beware!

I would not recommend working with Eli Alcaraz, who is one of the Webflow designers mentioned in this video. He mistreats female business owners and I’m shocked this channel would associate itself with him. Very disappointing.

Hi, just a friendly suggestion. Don't look down most of the times. Its better to look in the camera or at your audience for better engagement. As of now, it looks like you are reading material and reciting. Not at all good. Hope this suggestion adds some value and improve your presentation skills.
    Thanks
