In Flames has been my favorite band since I was 14 (2008) I know that makes me late to the party, but man, everything these guys have ever put out has been top tier. The softer stuff, the heavier stuff, I love it all. I've been all over the world and seen well over 100 bands play live now. Nobody will ever come close to IF. First song I ever heard was Crawl Through Knives on my brother's ipod nano on my way to school. Been a huge fan since then. Can't wait to see them again in Minneapolis, December 2023.

I used to be one of the people that didn't like the direction In Flames was going and focused on the past way too much but then I grew up a bit (a lot?) and started to appreciate them for who they were and the fact that they had been putting out great music for decades. There are 'eras' of In Flames I prefer over others and there are some albums that don't have a lot of songs on my 'favorites' playlists but there are great songs from every album. Based on the singles I've heard from their new album, it is already looking like it is going to be amazing!
Everyone who shits on them for evolving their sound should just grow up. I appreciate them for who they are, and this new album they put out really shows their full potential in my opinion

Jediny jeho dobry refren je v songu Trigger. Taky Mikael Stanne by ho mohol v cistych refrenoch vyucovat, ten to ma prirodzene, ale Friden to tlaci nasilu. A hudobne na to In Flames po odchode Stromblada tiez uz nema.
Where is the band that made The Jester Race? A masterpiece and then only emo-like nonsense. I haven't even checked the new album, I don't have any hope after all the years of mediocre material
