First time i have seen this clip,the way Lucy has progressed in the last 6 yrs is wonderful from a very talented girl to a world class vocalist,& my personal favourite!😊
Lucy is certainly a Wigan warrior,& a great supporter of Wigan warriors Rugby league team,both are class acts!😊

Excellent reaction! I'd never seen this before and I love it. I hope some day someone releases a compilation of all Lucy's performances throughout the season. I have a feeling she deserved to win, but haven't been able to see it yet. She certainly outshone her teammates here. From day 1, her talent, her gift and her hard work shines through. Lucy's from the town of Wigan in northwestern England and I believe their local football club is called the Wigan Warriors. I think Danny was calling her his "Wigan Warrior"
I checked, all the competitors including the winner became : nobody in the showbiz. Only Lucy , and relatively Will Callan, ( Lucy friend) continued a singer career. Chris Broom, understood Lucy potential, not knowing she will become a such talented, beautyful, singer

From the start you could not deny that Lucy was the better of the three, maybe because she had better control over her nerves, who knows... By the way: last year Lucy has made a new cover from the same song with her sister Martha and her mother, which is to be found on 'Lucy thomas music'. See and hear the difference. I think biggest difference is that the new cover is really "made for fun", no competition involved.
Thanks Layman for finding and showing this blast from the past. I had seen it once before, don't remember where may have been Lucys facebook page. That program was not broadcast in the USA it was a British show. Interesting to see and notice how small Lucy was compared to the others. there is one other I have seen a short one where Lucy was eliminated to an older Blonde bimbo girl that was NOT a better singer than Lucy, but politics raised its ugly head.
Report I heard was Lucy was the only one to go on to a music career, no one else has been heard of, The "winner" was not as good as Lucy and got a schalarship to a music school and a trip but all he has done is "sing" for the family.

Judging from his reaction, I think the bit towards the end was the first time Will I am had heard the Lucy deep voice belt. He seemed surprised by it.
