I just picked this set up from my bricks & minifigs with no box or instructions and wanted to see some love for the set while I (carefully) take it apart to rebuild it myself. I think what you’re referring to with the original design of the A-Frame cabin was that the original had plates that weren’t fully stuck on, not that the tiles were placed crooked. I built that one and another recent set I built with the crooked tile placement was the Hocus Pocus cottage This was one that I never thought I’d own but my wife encouraged me to get it after seeing how excited I was over it at BAM. Excited to get building!!
Exactly. Yes, not fully attached is what I meant. I love the look on the fishing store, and on hocus pocus. But, yes, the original a frame had it, but Lego changed the design sadly. I appreciate you tuning in. I made these videos on retired sets for other people like me who got the set years after and want to watch content on it. Reading your comment is really nice knowing someone watched it, while experiencing the set for the first time. It’s an incredible set, that was one of my first expensive retired sets, and like you, I never thought I would have it. Thank you!
Only disappointment was the cracking plates. Love the set overall. Bummer you spend that much on a second market set. For the pieces to be brittle. But all good none the less.

Good to know. I’ve had that issue with the green 4x4 plates in my city too!
Sorry you were disappointed, happens sometimes with these sets.
