warriors biggest problem is their d. Like none of them can guard players like embiid, Ingram, Giannis etc. or defend against teams like the Nuggets, Celtics, Bucks or the Pelicans. Curry is important for the team, but they will always look for the mismatch, Klay cannot guard top guards, Wiggins has lost his ability to be one of the best lockdown defenders and Looney is just too small/slow for skilled PF/Centers. You could see this perfectly in this game: They always need two defenders to "stop" bigger guys like Zion/Ingram so they can always go for the kick out pass to the wide open three. And even when the warriors do realize that the ball goes out to the shooter, they are too slow for the closeout or too small to contest the shot effectively.
ofc I am aware that they won against the Celtics and almost against the Nuggets, but nevertheless their undersized roaster keeps being a huge liability
The Pelicans had 57% FG. Congratulations to them, but it is mostly on Warriors defense. They take 120 points from everybody right now in the league. Even from the Pistons, if I remember well, they took over 120. It is impossible to win games defending like that. Even if they play their best offensive game.
