Hey a couple of things: First congratulations on your pregnancy hope all goes well with you and your family. 2nd: found your channel shortly after buying phasmo for console your insights have proven invaluable! Ty so much. 3rd: i was doing this challenge last night and lit 3 candles next to a cross, the 3 lights were extinguished but no hunt started, but it was still an onreyo, is this a bug or did i miss something?
Thanks! Also you either got off count, relit a candle too fast, or had another lit flame nearby, this can include lighters, make sure you don't play with your lighter or relight candles. Onryo tests are very easy to mess up and more annoying they can take up to 7 seconds to decide to hunt after blowing out that 3rd flame.
RE: you being more nervous about having a girl vs having a boy. That is perfectly normal and understandable. You were a boy once, you know what can happen in a young boy's life and what issues can happen, and you know how people dealt with that for you and with you. You don't have an equal experience with a girl. However, I would guess your wife does. Either gender though, you are going to find out it won't matter much. Your child is not going to be you and have your experience, or your wife and have hers. They will be their own person, and they will grow up in a different world than you did, they will be making completely different choices than you did, and have different reactions to any that are the same or similar, and you'll figure out soon enough that familiarity will help less than you hope, and flexibility and understanding will be the truly important parts. You'll do fine, or as fine as anyone else at least, and for everything else being fair and having love for them will be the keys. Congratulations! I still play, still have a ton of fun, but I tend to not survive hunts. Still learning.

I do believe that you are right as well, I just don't tend to get alot of ghosts there so haven't really messed around with it much
