    Thank you so much! I've owned carriers for 4 years and never had the back strap that low. That makes it a million times more comfortable and I wish I thought/heard of that sooner!

    Thanks for this video! You explained everything wonderfully. My baby is 3 months old and when I put him in the carrier the straps hit his cheeks and I can tell he’s uncomfortable with that rubbing on his face. Any advice on how I can fix this? Thank you again this video was better than the one on the Tula site!!

      Karina Cordero hi, is he high enough in the carrier? Is his head fully out of the top?
      Feel free to send pics to our Facebook page or email southessexslings@gmail.com and I can try to help further.

    I just tried this carrier for the first time with my newborn. Baby is over 7 lbs but he’s curling in a ball so hands and arms are not staying where placed. Any thoughts? Do I need to wait to use?

      Rachel M hi. Could you email me some photos at Southessexslings@gmail.com then I can try to help more. It’s possible he’s just a little too small at the moment, but there might be some things we can try.

    Hi! I am looking to purchase the Tula Explorer but want to make sure I can use it with my 8 lb newborn first. Would you say the head is supported enough to use with a newborn? Just don't want to have to hold his head the whole time while wearing him. Thanks!

      You’ll have to try one at your local sling library. Thé explore is hit and miss whether it fits newborns well. The Tula free to grow or half buckle fit better from my experience.

    Thank you for this video!! Unfortunately my baby screams bloody murder every time I try to wear him. 2.5 months old. Any tips to get him to enjoy being worn? (I have this same Tula explore carrier)

      vanessa murphy hi.
      If you could take some pictures of him in the carrier and send them to our Facebook page or email to southessexslings@gmail.com then I can try and troubleshoot further.

    Should the baby be able to move it’s head from side to side? I got one today and find that my baby’s neck doesn’t come above the carrier - is this okay? (Airways are clear)

      @SouthEssexSlings  5 лет назад +1

      Grace Imrie hi, ideally the fabric should come no higher than the bottom of baby’s ears. You could try putting the waistband higher on you and it might help position baby higher in the carrier.

    • @SouthEssexSlings
      @SouthEssexSlings  5 лет назад +1

      Grace Imrie you could also check that you have the top of the carrier folded down to its lowest setting and snapped into place with the poppers.

    My baby is 1 month old and 4 kg can I use Tula free to go or explore ?thank you in advance

      Hi.
      You can use either of those carriers. They both adjust to fit newborns.
      The main difference between them is the explore has the option to forward face when baby is older.
