It might be a good idea to get a food saver to vaccum seal everything. I use it for all food and then wrap in freezer paper. Every stays fresh like new for 1 to 2 years. With freezer paper everything stays flat and does not slide around. There is no freezer burn. Just a thought for your food to last longer.
Great tips. I used buns in my freezer but they are larger buns which can make it more difficult to pull out. Going to shop my house for some smaller buns to use. And love the labels. Great idea to put the meats on the bottom shelves too.

As a general rule of thumb frozen food will keep for three months in a standard home freezer before starting to show signs of freezer burn. I've personally had food in for 6 months to a year, but wouldn't go beyond that.
One of the easy things i do is.. i take photos inside my frig and then sit with a cup of coffee and decide what and where something needs organizing.
