Such an interesting story. Imagine walking in the river for 10 days, alone in the jungle, with infected wounds with maggots in them. You have lost your parents and thinking all people on that plane died.
Didn’t mention that one of the biggest reasons she survived in the conditions of the rainforest is because her parents were scientists who studies animals, weather, etc in these exact conditions. So she was raised with all the knowledge she needed to survive here
@@LM-dv8pv I think because the title claimed the lightning "Blew" up the plane, which it clearly did not since it only hit the left engine and caused a plane crash.

Her parents were scientists studying the Amazon and that’s why she knew the things she did. She knew what to eat and what to avoid and she knew how to avoid certain dangers. It’s incredible
Theres other videos that explain why she survived the fall. Including a movie called wings of hope I believe. The director of the movie was to be on that very flight but cancelled at the last minute. This video also misrepresents where she was sitting. She was next to the window. All 3 seats were sucked out and being that shes was the only one attached still on the end it caused a spinning helicopter effect on the way down. That and updraft slowed her decent. Trees broke her fall. The movie is good and told by her herself. She revisits the crash site and the man that eventually rescued her.
We cant exactly know how cuz she passed out at impact and before impact but it's likely due to the fact that, since its a rain forest, she might have been very lucky and was cushioned by the trees without being severely injured by branches.
Also, her mother was found by the rescue team and the autopsy revealed that she would have survived her fall like her daughter but would have died soon after due to her injuries.
