this is actually a competition for female celebs in Vietnam, who are from older than 30 years old or have more than 10 year in showbiz, they are KOL, actress, singer, dancer, MC, ... they will compete to survive in the show, and then debut as a girl group. The original TV show from China named "Sister who make waves" and then they take it to Vietnam.
Fun fact: this mashup was crafted from scratch in 4 days and performed by 7 solo artists from different backgrounds, from concept and theme, music arrangement, vocal harmonisation, outfits/costume design, stage production, camerawork, lighting, to choreography and acting, and especially the rehearsal. btw if you know the lyrics this performance would feel even more impactful and hard-hitting, as it's trying to tell a story with each detail corresponding to an underlying meaning and emotion of the person who sings the line. Dai Minh Tinh also resonates with a lot of artists in the entertainment industry, such as Taylor Swift and Sulli of f(x) imo.
This is a competition gathers 30 different celebrities in VN to find out a girl group to debut at the end. Each round they will be divided into different teams and each team will be assigned a song, and they have to create a performance by themselves using the assigned song. This performance you watch is a mashup of an old 60s-70s famous song and a new 2023 hit. As you can see, this is a group of 7, and not all of them are singers and not all of them are experts in dancing but they all manage to put on a great performance. The 3 ladies at the beginning are 3 of the top vocalists in VN. The pink hair lady and the lady in light pink gown are also 2 famous singers as well. The pretry one in silver gown used to be very famous before and she has quit being in celebrity life a long time ago, and now she came back to this show suprising everyone by her talent. The lady in white is a super famous actress, she wasn't good at singing before and always joked around with her own vocals, and now she comes to this show, even though she doesn't have the best vocals but she still amaze everyone by her transformation in singing, and she's a top favorite celebrity as she's very talented and good in leadership, the clip at the end showcasing all the acting of different ladies is actually directed by her ❤
