  • Istrian coal mines Raša, a mining company, after II. World War I included a number of mines (Labin, Ripenda, Vinež, Koromačno, Raša, Tupljak) into a common production and technological entity.
From 1928 to 1966, the Raša Mine employed more than 10,000 miners who dug the so-called black gold - coal, which has nourished generations.
Kova experiences are mining tours for visitors that revive the past of Raša and provide a unique experience of entering the mine.
Experience a day in the life of a Raš miner: from getting dressed for work and picking up work equipment, walking through the tunnels and underground corridors of the mine to arriving at the miner's apartment of the Kovarska kuća "Arsia", where you can take a peek into the miner's everyday life.
Get to know the rich history of mining in Labinština, listen to the story about the difficulty of the mining work, but also the community of miners, the role of women in mining and their families.
