Hello, what is your native language? I have the original version of the kit. The transistors work, but the quiescent current is very unstable and increases sharply with increasing temperature. Although I have checked the output transformer several times, there is hardly any power at the output. How high does the input voltage HF and DC have to be at the transistor? What does the bifilar winding do? I can't exactly explain the function of the winding at this point? Thanks 73 DL2SST
@@stefans.3569 Hi Stefan, my mother language is Korean, but English is OK for me. I have a similar symptom, quiscent current increasing with temp, my workaround is to set the gate voltage to zero when no transmits, and only supply bias voltage during transmit. This works fine for me. The purpose of bifilar choke is to supply balanced Vcc to each FETs. With the original single choke, the circuit may be oscillated under certain conditions
Thank you for your quick reply. I will try to improve with your tips. If it doesn't work, I'll look around for another circuit. I've already built a 70 watt kit that works great. Thank you and have fun with your hobby. If I have another question, I would like to write again. 73 DL2SST
Can you share circuit diagram?
Do you mean a schematic?, it is shown at 2:45 on the video
정말 최고의 정보 감사합니다. 73!
Nice work. Thanks for sharing!
I am preparing a 300watts version, please stay tuned
Found a lot of interesting videos on your channel. Subscribed
gostei da tua linear e do esquema que disponibilizou muito obrigado amigo
CAN BE IRF P 250 REPLACE BY IRF P 260N???
I did not test with 260N
(I hope my translation app is working good) 73 DL2SST
Sorry, I can't read Chinese. Could you say it in English?
If you have any specific questions, please let me know. de KC1ATW
