Fantastic video! The marches played were, 1) Under the Double Eagle 2) National Emblem 3) On the Quarterdeck 4) Eroica 5) The Mareth Line 6) Steadfast and True 7) Lilliburlero
I like to spend a few moments of the day watching and listening to your videos. I love the band whatever it is and whoever plays! Unfortunately we in Italy do not have the diffusion of musical culture like you do, everything is done voluntarily by people who like to play. Keep it up, thanks
A really superb video The picture and sound quality are first rate! This is one of the best Windsor Guard Change videos I have seen recently. Nice to see The Band of the Grenadier Guards in good form and with a full compliment of 40 pieces instead of the usually 35 for these events.
Makes my days listening too and watching these guys and gals doing their stuff👍👍👍. Trapped at home rehabbing after ticker repair, and these vids keep me sane. Cheers to you military events👍👍👍
@@doraldeddy1836 Thank you very much for getting back to me. Your good news just made my day. Thank you also for your best wishes. My best wishes to you also, from Oregon, USA.
IWho would like to arm wrestle the base drummer? Wow - Under the Double Eagle followed by the National Emblem (alternate lyrics - a monkey wrapped his tail around...) Nice work -really an excellent video.
I must say this is one of your finest marching videos I’ve seen so far and have long been watching!! Superb clarity of audio and video.Thank You again!!
I'm wondering why some of the barack's guards are standing at attention and do salute the Band and the Guard troops while others (like in this example) are just standing there as if they're waiting for the bus ??? Is there no standard protocol for that...anyone knows ??
If its the regiment at the gate, in this case Coldstreamers, they HAVE to salute, i thought the other ones with blue berets would too, but I guess not.
The band sounds Great! The band also looks Great! I love those red coats. May I ask a question? I noticed that most of the bandsmen are NCO'S ( sergeants and corporals. ) Does a guardsman need to be an NCO or almost an NCO to be in the band? I hope this is not a stupid question, as I really am not an expert on ranks in the British army. Thank you, for a great video.
Superb video once again! Great to hear the Band of the Grenadier Guards! I noticed there’s a new bass trombonist he looks familiar? Ex Coldstream guards Band?
Lillibulero and Aupres de ma Blonde are the Corps march of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers ( REME ), who formed the old guard. Regimental marches are played as the guard returns to barracks.
I'm a bit confused I love watching these videos but I'm confused as to the uniforms. This band in black and red with the buzzbees then there's one where the troops are wearing long coats and calvary helmets then there's another with them wearing a different uniform. Are the all different eliments of the cold stream guard or different units rotated in to guard Windsor castle.
All different regiments … black and red as you call it are the bands of the Guards regiments (there are 5 ).. and they are bearskins not buzbys, buzbys are small and worn but the Royal Horse Artillery (kings troop) long coats are the winter dress uniforms and Calvary helmets are the Blues and Royals and Household Calvary regiments
An infantry band at the head of a battalion needs a strong beat to enable all to keep in step. Most bands these days are marching orchestras no good for the battalion column.

Unter dem Doppel-Adler a nice one .
Eroica - is the 4th march composed by the tuba player who also Composed twice the man!
@@militaryevents107 Thanks!
Thanks Delvin, you always deliver 👍we seem to follow the same bands 😂
And discernible at the end (12:44): 8. Aupres de ma blonde

I would love to be the man with the stick at the front. I march around my house with my broom stick pretending to be him lol 😂
Lol
Brilliant rare marches!
Nice one, a lot of rare marches played today!
How greatful is the sound? It’s sooooo great having a band like this in the army☺️
Amazing 🤩
Great video. Keep it up 👍

Another great video, thanks 😊
This one is very good. some nice close-ups and good sound (new camera?)
Not a new camera - hopefully getting one soon!
Another Constable who knows how to march properly.

Love when the guards play some common RMBS marches like On the Quarterdeck, Shrewsbury Fair, and HM Jollies

As always a great video thanks 😊
Long live my royal guard Maria victoria bye
Only the British.! Brilliant 😘
Fun fact: this video is zoomed on the marching band and in a circle loop and not going to the castle
Was there today so such a wonderful memory…. So so proud of our armed forces … Thankyou
The Armed Police don't look very sharp... Rather disheveled 7:37 looks like he's been pub crawling. Enjoyed seeing the Band & Guard !
Probably, the best beer in the world.
Looking at some of the women walking along, maintenance for the kids

Zulus... thousand of 'em....
Excellent musically and visually, however some of these guys really do need to get in shape.
Bass drum! You need to play softer! Youre too loud!
The whole point off the bass drum is to keep time or be a time beater.
Grenadier Guard Bass Drumers nickname is THE TIMEBEATER of Regiment
Also this is a stand in, the real bass drummer is a WO2
Don't be daft that's the way the way the British play, unafraid
