    When you start to talk about ratio, my ADHD kicked in. LOL So with a cup of coffee, I sat there and took the ratio lesson challenge and paid attention! LOL!! I love this video, very understanding. Thank you so much!

    This is the best explanation for a beginner that I have seen. The diameter and gauges are very important. Thanks!!!

    Thanks for the great tutorial. I needed a review because I will be helping a teacher at my granddaughter's school this afternoon. They will be teaching chain maille to young children. I can't wait to pass this craft on.

    Thanks for this tutorial. I make my own rings using different size mandrels and a tool so I picked up a metric ruler at Michael's this weekend so I can see the exact measurements. This is an awesome video for me. I want to start making chain maille jewelry so I'll keep watching your other videos.

    I GREATLY APPRECIATE every video. There are NO good ENGLISH SPEAKING CHAINMAILLE JEWELRY tutorials out the in you tube land. I speed hours a day doing this and so love it but get frustrated when I can not figure out a weave or understand why I've had to buy 3 or more units before I can figure out how to find the correct fit. please keep posting

    Thanks for the great tutorial, I am going to be getting into making chain maille jewelry and armor and this video has helped me understand a lot. The only thing I am still confused about is the aspect ratio. I understand how to figure it out, but I don't know why we are going to need to know it (probably because I don't know that term.) Can you explain that a little more please?

    • @beadedjewelrydiva
      @beadedjewelrydiva  6 лет назад

      Hi Anna, you will definitely need to know more about aspect ratio (AR) if you will be doing much chain maille. The AR of a jump ring determines what kind of weave you can make with it. I have a write-up of the whole subject (along with a free e-book) on my website: www.beadedjewelrydiva.com/tutorials/chain-maille-and-jump-rings/

    Ive started to learn chainmail with quite small inner diameter rings and the rings just aren’t sitting properly after i pick them up and place them back down again, is this because they aren’t heavy enough? Or am i doing something wrong?
