I speed hours a day doing this and so love it but get frustrated when I can not figure out a weave or understand why I've had to buy 3 or more units before I can figure out how to find the correct fit. please keep posting

The only thing I am still confused about is the aspect ratio. I understand how to figure it out, but I don't know why we are going to need to know it (probably because I don't know that term.) Can you explain that a little more please?
Hi Anna, you will definitely need to know more about aspect ratio (AR) if you will be doing much chain maille. The AR of a jump ring determines what kind of weave you can make with it. Ive started to learn chainmail with quite small inner diameter rings and the rings just aren’t sitting properly after i pick them up and place them back down again, is this because they aren’t heavy enough? Or am i doing something wrong?
