@@PC_Monkey yeah, uh. It worked to cut my laptop on, but I had to try some different things to get it all set. Well it’s not fully all set, but I have this amazing thing that works best for me, and my chromebook. Instead of using this video, but this video was awful very helpful. I never would of thought of this, thank you.

Brother man ,you totally hooked me up ,I'm old school pushing fifty ,I hate commercials so I don't watch T.V., my chrome book was stuck on Google screen ,I followed what you did on step 2,not only did your way quickly have my computer back to normal but acomplete wild way updated user interface,as that has not changed since I bought it 3years ago ,I owe you .I am not extreemly, intelligent ,or at least can't be in a building with fluorescent lights,shiny shoes ,or rules , anyhow you made it easy for a. Kid who been smoking pot for forty years ,except those unfortunate years where I went ugly ,anyhow thank you big time,I subscribed and hit like if I can do anything to help you except send money cause I don't have any please tell me how

I have a chromebopk HP 14-ca050sa
Very similar to the one you have here but it has an all dark grey bezel and mouse pad wrist rest area.
The problem I have it won't boot up, I've tried the methods shown here without success.
When I plug in the power supply the orange LED comes on but no matter how long I leave it plugged it it never goes off or white to indicate a full charge.
Does that mean my battery is bad or become disconnected?
With it plugged in when I try the power wash or factory reset procedure the orange light briefly goes out, turns white goes out again and turns orange, nothing happens on screen and it appears to be charging again.
When I unplug the charger, the power light blinks white, again nothing on screen.
Any help would be appreciated.

It may come down for a motherboard issue for you in that case. I would next try to replace the board. If you want to replace the board, it should have a part number on it that looks like this; 'L85673-001'. Can you find that?
