- I got the platinum trophy on DOOM Eternal! This game was so much fun (except for those multiplayer trophies). I'm a huge fan of DOOM and also have the platinum on DOOM (2016) so this was a great one to add to the collection.

The "weird fish thingy" is actually called a dopefish, and it was a very secondary character in the game Commander Keen, created by ID Software (the same studio that made DOOM). Since the character became really popular among fans of the game, ID Software made it a gag to put it into most (if not all) of their games.

Honestly doom eternal is such a great game but trying to play master levels or anything on ultra nightmare actually is a nightmare

But the game is basically a teacher for hard difficulty

Fun fact: the doom universe’s earth is actually just Australia world wide. So when demons invade it’s actually just the average summer as for when summer hits normal earth

I love this game on 120Hz mode. I'm going through campaign once every few months on give me violence which is just right difficulty for me. Couldn't care less for online trophies, so once I have all offline ones, I consider it platiunum xD

The green fish is from one of id software's earlier games called commander keen it's call the dopefish and has showed up in a lot of fps games since

Good vid. For the Weapons Expert achievement, you just had to kill 1 demon player with all 8 weapons. You could've asked for mates to help you out in private lobbies for that one. Nevertheless, congrats on achieveing "Heavy Metal"
I had no pals that wanted to boost with me 😂 I did ask on the subreddit but no one got back to me! Had to do it the old fashioned way 💪💪
@@J_Rob_Platinum That's unfortunate. I got lucky that I played against 2 noobs and managed to get the achievement. Now I try to achieve the remaining milestones and triumphs to truly have the game 100% completed

The secrets you found are called dopefish
Tying platinum with online trophies kind of strayed me away from grinding it. I Believe the best way to get platinum for games is the way ghost of Tsushima did they’re’s. They separated online trophies from offline trophies and it let me get platinum without any online achievements.

Just a suggestion, you should try and plat Hell Pie. It is a very underrated game and needs more recognition.

I have almost all singleplayer trophies, but I think that the battlemode 2.0 ones will really take forever because I would just need people to help me to get them since I'm either terrible or others are tryharding way too much.
They are grind but I'm sure you could do it!

I wonder if I can just stack trophies by playing PS4 version which is the physical copy then upgrading it after the platinum
Might be possible! I know it was with Ghost of Tsushima, I went on PS5 version to play DLC and the plat popped straight away

You don't have to kill both demon players with the BFG, only one is enough but it's a glitched one. The direct hit doesn't always register correctly unfortunally
I tried mine on just one a couple times and never got it, but I've seen other people get it! A weird one 😭

Multiplayer impossible to get no one play it anymore I literally I got both done in 2 days however the only thing I’m missing is the multiplayer on doom 2016

You don’t have to do dlc to get the platinum, just got it last night
Yeah you never really have to do the DLCs as they have separate trophy lists, I just wanted to do them for 100%

shame that ID didn't figure out how to make controller pew pew work well like other fps games. playing this with a roller feels like you are always stuck on something and can't aim quite where you want it and in turn makes the game about 20% harder
Yeah took me some fiddling in the settings to get comfortable

I tried to beat the super hard nightmare maps to get the golden shotgun but man was that Annoying, couldn’t do it and then my character doom guy could barely move even if I dash, so I deleted the game and never played again but man was that a fun game
