Sir, I backtested this for a year and what i found is, if BN close at the price where it was at the beginning of the month, there will be huge loss which will eat up of the profit of 5-6 months. Any way to limit this kind of loss?

yes just for 1 month balance the same with the help of delta, after that things will come in balance automatically. Or you may not take the trade for 1 month. that is ok. real money is a no stress money.

Nothing, you have already booked the profits greater then the premium paid in buying or remaining CE. we are keeping it as a bonus if market reverses which generally it does. Other hand use a indicator for this.

Hello sirji... I backtested this strategy in 2019, loss of 600 points in a year... Reason might be 1500 point wide range in 2019 because 6 out of 12 month doesn't brake 1500 point either side.. I will backtest in 2020 nd after , may be positive because in those years , only 2 months per year ,did not cross 1500 mark so we will have 10 positive months

I would have bought 43400 pe also, the reason is liquidity and spread which does not come in round figures of 500

i understood the logic of using calendar hedges . Basically the same expiry hedges will not enough premium to decay the whole month

yes just for 1 month balance the same with the help of delta, after that things will come in balance automatically. Or you may not take the trade for 1 month. that is ok. real money is a no stress money.

Thanks for sharing the strategy. Even if we sell CE and PE 2000 away for next month, should we still book the profits once the BNF moves 1500. Also, is there any trick if the movement happens within the first week itself. Should we redeploy?
Same happened in January 22, entry on 1st and exit on 5th jan. After exit Price went another 1200 points up in next week
that is really a deep one, yes there is trick to continue the trend, but for know lets stick to the stat. the answer is book on 1500 pt movement

Nothing, you have already booked the profits greater then the premium paid in buying or remaining CE. we are keeping it as a bonus if market reverses which generally it does. Other hand use a indicator for this.

I backtested this strategy in 2019, loss of 600 points in a year...
Reason might be 1500 point wide range in 2019 because 6 out of 12 month doesn't brake 1500 point either side..
I will backtest in 2020 nd after , may be positive because in those years , only 2 months per year ,did not cross 1500 mark so we will have 10 positive months
