- Hi lovely people! I have been feeling like sharing some shots of my school (a.k.a. where I live at the moment) for quite a while and hey I managed to make a video for you! Yay.
I'm excited to finally be able to create more content, it's one of the very first videos that I made since quite a while. There are definitely many rooms for improvement for my vlog/video/film-whatever-making. For instance: Next time I'll make sure to be more careful about the camera's autofocus as it's quite bugging.
This video was also super spontaneous, I did not plan any script nor cues on what to say in front of the camera either (ugh excuses...), so next time hopefully I'll try to be better prepared so whatever I'm saying will be more coherently put. I'm excited to learn more on how I can share contents with better qualities for you!

Oh wow! No wonder I did not see this awesome video when looking for stuff online while still applying, you're my secondyear! I'll share this on my/our blog from all the german 2017-2019 UWC people so applicants will find it. UWC you soon on campus - and you guys out there, apply no matter what! ^.^

hi! you went to Australia on an Exchange year, right? (saw Your video). And now youre at UWC. How did you manage to do both (if you travelled to Australia during Your second year)? i mean; UWC only Accepts students for second and Third year? i really want to og to UWC but also i really wanna og on an Exchange, so if theres a way to do both, please share :))
I had the same question. I'm from Germany and I'm planning my exchange (half) year to New Zealand right now. But I just discovered UWC and I'd love to be a part of it. But the application process here also includes a weekend where all potential future studends have interviews and group acticities. This weekend is in the time I plan on being in New Zealand. And I don't want to not go on the exchange because of UWC, because it's not sure that I will get in. I really want to go to UWC, but if I ended up not having one of these experiences, I'd be very sad.
Hi! I did my exchange to Australia back in July 2015. The UWC selection process (For Indonesia's Committee) started on November 2015 and finished on February 2016, and I started my first year in UWC on August 2016. So I went to Australia a year before I left for UWC. I hope that helps to clear things out for you :). I do not think it is possible to join both an exchange program and UWC at the same time, though I think if you want to join an exchange program this year and still will be eligible to apply for UWC for next year's round, that could perhaps work. But just make sure that you will not be over the age limit by the time you are back from your exchange program (you can check on your national committee)
Hmm, I can see the dilemma you are put in at the moment. Would you still be able to apply to UWC for the next year's round after you get back from your exchange? I think if you are still eligible for the next year's round (just check the age limit from your national committee) you can try going for the exchange first then UWC next year. Because yes I can definitely imagine it would feel very discouraging if you do not make it pass the UWC selection after sacrificing your exchange opportunity. But this is me from assuming that you already have a place for your exchange (have you)? If you haven't you can maybe just go for the selections of both programs and see if one of it works for you (or even both!) in that case you can choose what feels right to your heart :)

If you just finished 10th grade you can apply for next year but then you would repeat a year

Hi Sima, I would recommend you to find out more about the UWC Malaysian national committee. Each national committee has different system of applications. Are you supposed to speak english ?!
Yes, the IB is taught in English but the first language requirement can be done as a self-taught language if the school doesn't offer it.
