Well there are a certain group of women out there that want to blame everything on men because they are taught that they are to blame for everything. Taylor is definitely one of them, how many has she ever really gotten close with? Like they even said in the video all she dates are other celebrities with 6 pack abs, of course everyone she meets is gonna be shallow.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with anorexia but I think the causes may be deeper that your making out in that the use of photoshop to ensure prominent women meet these unrealistic expectations is symptomatic of a wider problem that’s rooted, I believe, in the way men see women. I appreciate this might not be what you’ve experienced and I’d hate to feel as though I’m contradicting what you know to be your experience; my point is Taylor’s eating disorder may have, on a fundamental level, been caused by the attitudes of men, in general.

It feels like she completely missed the part where she says "nice". Yes, doing all those things is what a nice person does. Society has never said the average, plain or bitchy girl has to do those things. If you want to be seen as a nice person, you do those nice things.
I remember another video where a woman said "Since when was it ladylike not to swear?". I'm sure she was trying to be humorous, but it was on a feminist video with other feminists asking similar questions. Much like being a girl doesn't automatically mean you are a nice girl, being a woman doesn't make you a Lady. Being a gentleman means you also don't swear.

I never want to be known as a nice person. Does a nice person also have the capability of stating what they believe honestly and risk offending someone? Does a nice person have the sheaved weapons to draw upon if someone needs defending? I am incline to think if a person is too nice, they just cruise threw life, while they let someone else defend their rights. You cannot express honest views, have open discussion if you are too nice and won't risk offending anyone, and there goes your freedom of speech, new ideas, open debate. Nice is a dirty word to me.

If they were to make songs to the all out right and smart people who are dreaming of a fair just America instead of the woke leftist living in a nightmare of men rule & absolute racism they wouldn't be heard & sales would be down. The biggest difference between the left & right is the left will support any and all radical issues, changes, ideas and or thoughts of anything political or nonpolitical. The right on the other hand is very shutoff, only agrees & likes what they like and will not support anything said by the right & in some cases call out or throw another under the bus in order to be on top. The left as stupid & radical they may be they only group up & support everything all the while excusing bad behavior/ thinking no matter what! Then they share the power and rewards as long as they don't counter each other's expectations get in each other's way etc. "United we stand divided we fall" that statement is the only thing that can be scientifically proven or fact checked coming from the left as 100% correct. If we want these loonies to pipe down go away or just accept what has been given or tolerated thus far is to unite.. which is the key ingredient the right is missing and is keeping us from winning this war & even though we do unite on some things its not enough we're barely winning those battles.
Idk I hope I'm explaining it the way I'm thinking/seeing it in my head lmao anyhow that is why beyonce-if I was a boy & swift-the man are made regardless if they really feel that way because the left ALL OF THE LEFT will buy it support it share it & market it! All the other songs they make will get the left's same energy but if its a neutral nonpolitical song & catchy that's when you have right wingers jumping on to do the same as the left but vice versa not all right will support them & none of the left will as well as the left gathering a CANCEL culture group to get rid of them......

This complement does not have to do with female sexual approval.

Today I'm a conservative Christian patriot who can win an argument with facts, write, cook, and have a functional relationship with a man. The whole "I'm sorry" thing seems to be just a female thing. I get this all the time when I'm passing past a fellow female customer in the grocery store. I say, "Excuse me" as I walk past them looking at the shelves for whatever they are looking for, and men just say, "Okay", but every woman, every time says, "Sorry"..... I turn and say, "You don't have anything to be sorry for, I'm just walking past you, you didn't do anything wrong." They always look back at me with a puzzled look.
I've surmised that women really aren't sorry, they just say it to hopefully content an apparent aggressor. Women are appeasers by nature, so they simply say 'sorry' to try to not escalate any potential contact, especially with a six foot tall 200 pound man with a flat top haricut, wearing a leather jacket. I'm apparently scary to them, so they simply say sorry as a natural response.... And I think women recognize that they are biologically smaller than a man my size, and simply shift into their natural proclivity to submit to my size, and then they HATE that they did so.
So, In summary, they're projecting more than they are actually realizing why they are saying what they say. And when I point out that they don't need to apologize, they come face to face with the fact that they don't even realize that they said sorry. It's not men's lacking of empathy and compassion, it's women refusing to accept that they are biologically slighter than men, and and they hate that they are. It's merely internalized envy.

Look, I went into the documentary with an open mind. I enjoyed her early music (first 3 albums, after that it got a bit to generic pop for my taste); and im also a hardline economic conservative so I thought that gave me a decent unbiased middle point to operate from.
    Key Thoughts:
    1) I honestly feel bad for her, the entirety of the documentary it felt like she was unhappy, alone, and just trying to put on a brave face to please people(both when she was 19 and even now at 30).
    2) It very much seems like she's a sweet, genuine, kind, empathetic person. However, she also appears to be a conformist (which theres nothing wrong with). But when you're a conformist it tends to lead to cognitive dissonance, which can lead to anguish and misery if the dissonance is on a high enough magnitude. Thus if she was raised surrounded by the extreme conservative views of small town Tennessee then gets dropped into the extreme liberal values of Hollywood/NY its going to naturally lead to an internal struggle of trying to understand/figure out what you believe.
    3) The only part of the documentary where she genuinely appears happy is during ages 19 and 26; aka when she first began(uncorrupted by the crap storm of opinions and ridicule that is hollywood) , and the very brief segment where she went MIA for a year, fell in love, and lived a relatively normal life in Tennessee. Its also a drastic transition; there's this montage of her in the fields of Tennessee in cold weather, looking the happiest she has in the documentary talking about "i fell in love with a normal man" to just never referencing him again. It Likely had something to do with her giving up their normal happy life to return to the spotlight (to which she acknowledges drove a lot of her joy in life despite it being shallow affection and limited real relationships)
    4) The politics are whatever, frankly the documentary was very apolitical until the last 15 minutes. Her stance wasnt overtly radical, it was derived from ancillary voting issues (meaning non-economical; given thats what most people vote on come election time). As a Gen Z conservative I'm fairly socially liberal yet maintain a strong line stance on conservative economic policy; and frankly most of her "SJW" opinions were completely rational.
Idk I just felt sad at the end of the documentary, she joked about not being ready for kids then 6 scenes later her friend/sister (idk) told her what a great mother she thought she would be and it was again one of the few moments of the documentary where she appeared genuinely happy. It just feels like despite all the money, and fame, shes still a small town girl from Tennessee who somewhere deep down wants the more normal love filled life that she wrote about on her bedroom floor and shared with in her first 2 albums.

What I think is that the documentary is great for those who are like straight up haters, the ones who hate on her just for being too skinny or blonde or writing songs about exes and call her slut and stuff. Because I have read comments like: taylor swift is worst than a pornstar. Which makes me sad because I feel like women are generally subjected to such comments like Nickie Minaj, Cardi B, etc and people forget that they are artists. Basically I found that Miss Americana made people gain respect for Taylor Swift in a way that she is an artist and has her style and she dosen't have to potray others and have a very strong voice to be called so. An artist is defined by many things. She made me learn this and I found out that many other's too because u know when u are a teen u don't know anything but hating things. So maybe she did enlighten a particular age group or a particular mentality. What I feel is that she is a smart woman and she will be enlightened at places she isn't.

"Northam ... abortion up until birth."
Bruhs, Northam was talking about POST-BIRTH ABORTION. There's another word for that: Murder.

I wonder what age would a mom still be able to kill her child? 5 minutes, 2 months, a year? Gov Blackface Klansman never did tell us that!!!

It’s like watching your 15 year old niece who suddenly discovered politics lecture her dad about inequality.

I have had this happen several times by friends daughters and other young people I come into contact with. Naturally being the shy retiring person I am I TOTALLY allow them to bask in their truth....not!
I know we all have said or thought things at pre 21 we would like to slap ourselves upside the head for, but FFS!! I was never this bad!
