    still listening to it for 4 years, in daily travels to my office. Best album of shred ever, with Paul Wardingham's "Assimilate Regenerate". Both can be on my pedestal of awesomeness, far beyond every other big name of the guitar world.

    Fantastic work, and so strong out of the gate too! Hits like a sledgehammer, with the precision of an eye surgery laser.

      Ha, thanks so much for these kind words! :]
      I have done a few other (also non-metal) pieces but very few ever got released... I really try not to be a one trick pony because I really enjoy a lot of different musical genres and guitar styles but instrumental metal guitar music is where I feel the most comfortable at the moment. Apart from doing that I have a synth-pop-rock project with a female singer and a very good friend of mine which could turn out to sound very interesting as well, so if this ever gets a release I hope you will have the chance to listen to it (and hope you like it!).

    I dig it. Your runs are really cool, it all seems in good taste to me. More djent-y stuff is fun because you break it up with more melodic/legato stuff in-between. I really love your legato parts they sound super cool. Im pretty new to all this but maybe try multisampling drums or playing with different synth patches/modulation to give your rhythm a little more flavor. I like the rhythm itself but its sounds a little robotic and i think its just because its from a single sample? Awesome overall man, ill be a new follower

    • @bubbernub651
      @bubbernub651 5 лет назад +1

      Im not sure if you did try to mix it up with multisampling and all that, I know doing that stuff is really complicated but if youre just looking to spice something up id just look at rhythm timbre/diversity is all.

    • @SYNDRONE
      @SYNDRONE  5 лет назад

      Thanks mate! I appreciate your suggestions! :] I guess most of the robotic sound comes from the drum computer and the midi low end of the bass track, which in fact both use multisampling but since it`s a software and all quantized it will most likely always sound a bit robotic, even if the software would use even more different samples. Though to a certain degree this robotic sound is what I was/am after in my music because it fits the vision and the music that I had/have in mind. :) I dig a lot of more organic sounding metal bands but for my own project I wanted to have a different approach to reflect the futuristic mood a bit more. :)

    Good. I suggest you to use more audio layers (maybe synthesizer, one more layer of guitar and other instruments, electro effects for background sound) because some times it sounds good and powerful but some times too empty. Even simple sounds will change impression a lot in that moments. Subbed :)

    • @SYNDRONE
      @SYNDRONE  5 лет назад

      Thanks for the feedback! :) Can you show me a part that sounds too empty? I'm curious because I feel like it's already very dense all the time and that it might have been good to have more parts that let the tracks breathe... It's defo hard not to loose perception and the overview while being in the production process. :]

      @@SYNDRONE sure, I will make timecodes list in a few days and send it here.
      Also, have you heard "Mick Gordon - Doom (2016)" album of soundtracks to game Doom (2016)? Some parts of it sounds like in your work, but it mostly dark-electro-techno-andalittlebitmetal focused (I'm not good in music genres)
      Tracks from that album to check out (guitar in that ones in main role) :
      Trackname. (time of track)
      BFG Division. (8:27)

      @@SYNDRONE Looks like only one track have noticeable problem parts. Everything else sounds mostly logical flowing from one part to another. I also noticed that many tracks often looks like each other: same speed, solo and small parts with minimal changes. Nothing wrong with that, but in newer works you should think about that. Creating and experimenting with totally different tracks will improve your skills and album a lot.
      2 Heartbeta 2.0
      6:22 - background line appearce (synthesizer)
      ~7:50 background line disappearces. You can use that line few more times in moments below to keep listener attention.
      10:22 - 10:38 before that moment everything was intense with melodic elements and I expected to that continues :) Thats why that moment feels like some sounds missing. Maybe something more on background will help.
      10:55 - 10:11 in that part music repeats twice, but it takes too much time. Maybe 1-1.5 repeat is just enough

    Great player, but once again like Paul Wardinghams albums, that terrible so called 'drumming' and layering is over the top and sooooo annoying, repetitive and not a natural sound (melodic) that it ruins the sound of the guitar. Thanks, but not for me I will stick to Andy James and similar styles with a bit more soul, melody, song writing, compositions etc. (If this is read, I have listened to and owned tens of thousands of albums for near on 50 years! Especially guitarists, but each to his own, I guess).

      To each their own! :) There are millions of other albums for you to enjoy out there! 🤘
