But talking about starting salaries , the salaries you have been mentioned are too much. In semiconductor industry the salaries for freshers are starts from "6 LPA" and in consumer electronics it goes down to "3 to 3.5 LPA".

flaps aren't exactly used to reduce speed. They are used to increase wing surface area to generate more lift at low speed especially during landing and to add more lift during takeoff. Avionics designer here.

@@softwaredevlovers depends. some companies let you work remotely but if you are a fresher then i suggest you to work as a team as it will help you build more knowledge about industrial design side.

I have my education in mechanical engineering and worked as mechanical engineer for 4 years and then switched to software development and have worked as web developer and automation tester for past 3 years. May i request your guidance on how to start and path should i follow to get in to the field. I have gone through different vides and articles and it has confused me how to start and which path should i follow.
I am interested to join job areas like aeronautics/avionics, defense, transportation/railways(primary interest- two parts- signalling system and propulsion system), space and anything large critical and interesting as given examples either in govt or pvt sector where we make use of knowledge we gained in course and we learn lot more, can you please guide on job market for electronics/embedded system career
Hi bro I am ece graduate with 2 yrs of work experience as a frontend developer. But recently i have started my gate prepration and now I want to do Mtech in VLSI or related field. The reason is with rise of Gen AI I am fed up and I think I can lose my job in future to genAI. I am preparing for gate and want to do mtech because I believe GenAI can't replace a hardware or VLSI engineer is it right?

If you can master C/C++ and will be open to learn Hardware you can very well switch to embedded. As I mentioned in semiconductor industry embedded engineers are paid really well!!
