Hello Kevin, I tried to screen record (the Xbox screen recorder thing) on my windows 11 but it wouldn't allow me to, I tried the key binds and pressing it directly but it just won't activate.
Your channel and your videos are really fantastic, for a number of reasons. 1) The videos are all meat, no filler. (Among other things, that shows respect for the audience.) 2) The fact that you IMMEDIATELY LAUNCH into the subject matter -- rather than making people listen to some promises about how great the video is GONNA be, or asking them in advance to like the video, subscribe to the channel, etc etc. 3) Choice of material is great. 4) Pacing is great. 5) I myself am an instructor and writer. Have also taught thousands of adults to speak English, in NYC. You work like I do: Give 'em ACTIONABLE intelligence or tools that they can use TODAY, and that will make their lives easier TODAY. Something that they can use at work TODAY, when they leave this room -- and their employer will be like: "How, where is this guy learning all this? I swear, he speaks more English today than he did yesterday. And this is EVERY day."
Kevin, there's no better way of thanking you for this timely content. Tell you what? You released this video exactly on the day that I needed to remove hissing sound in an audio recording. I was looking to use Audacity, but that would take me some time creating a noise profile and getting rid of all the background sounds. After listening to this video, I did that in just less than 10 minutes. I am happy that on top of it being free, the platform is fully accessible with screen readers. As always, I am so happy and content with what you serve us.
I am at a loss for words. I learned more from your two short videos about AI than I did with the hour or so of reading I did about the topic. Again, awesome.
The AI VOICE ENHANCEMENT app is amazing. I went through some of my old audio files and converted them using the app. WOW! Definitely a game changer for me. Thanks!
I watched your previous video on the subject and this one was even better. Kevin, can you do a video on the best programs or apps that will take multiple clips and turn them into edited videos? Some years ago I used Magisto but it would only make a video of one or two minutes and the last time I looked at it. It had changed and was not easy to use as before.
Fantastic. I just used that AI voice enhancer for a particular dialogue section I was unable to fix in premiere pro, and it worked perfectly! Thanks for the info.
Can’t believe I just found this channel! Love it! 🎉 Hey Kevin! Do you or any of your subs know of a tool that can remove silence when editing video? You know like those awkward pauses we all hate that we have to trim
I am a multiple sclerosis patient and through chatting with ChatGPT, I discovered Magnetic Transcranial Stimulation. Today, I embark on a new journey with the help of AI 💖
Fantastic! HUGELY useful tools for both my professional life and personal lives. I'm a technical writer. I interview Subject Matter Experts about complex topics. It's like investigative journalism. Audio recording of interviews and meetings -- and extracting the information from those interviews and meetings -- is my bread and butter. Your channel is fantastic. You are my favorite TV show now that Trebek -- and Trevor Noah -- are gone. These tools are hugely useful for paralegals, journalists, technical writers.
For a laugh, I tried Splitter AI on a music file with vocals, The Love Boat theme!! It did an ok job, however, it did sound as though the speaker had been chucked in a tin can. I've had similar results from Adobe Audition. Maybe the files can be cleaned up in Audition or Audacity. Not a bad start really.
Another generative AI that you might want to consider is Bluewilllow, it's still in the beta testing state and still free and has been consider to better or on par with Midjourney.
Can you make a video on the privacy concerns with AI when using these tools or other tools since we have to share some data in order for the AI to generate things?
Hi Kevin! Wonderful video... Hey, quick question for Splitter AI... Will it receive also video files and work on the audio... Or does it need to be audio only? - Thanks! Homero
Kevin, I am an assistant professor at a university all the way suggesting your videos to my students. I've begun watching you about a year before you left Microsoft. Could you create video on using Chad gpg for academic purposes without ethical violations?
WOW, 🤩 So I tried the AI Voice Enhancement, and here is what happened: Tried to enhance one of the music pieces that I had created on my MOX8 Yamaha. Adobe actually did an amazing job of creating vocals out of my music; 🤩; to describe it better the outcome was a mixture of vocals and music. The other interesting thing was that whenever the pitch was high, the generated vocal was of a female and the low pitch was male. It's understood that the tool is for improving speech sound quality not music, but what an amazing outcome for trying music. Please let me know if there is any tool out there for improving the quality of music sound, as I yet do not know how to properly transfer mine from MOX8 to PC and the quality of sound on my PC is very poor compare to the original on MOX8.
Not sure wat you are saying isnt Adobe ai on a computer /pc? Audio quality on your PC is bad? The audio codec varies little, keeping it universal (and good) ensures ppl play music on it. Are you saying your speakers are bad? If so use closed ear headphones when editing sound, forget the expensive ones now, most cheapies or used will make huge difference. You’ll also want to edit in a DAW audacity is a fine start and free, eventually check reaper and bitwig out.
@@TrggrWarning I use Cubase AI LE 12 as DAW. I admit that I am not even familiar enough with Cubase. The music on Yamaha MOX8 sounds amazing but when I save it on a USB as a .mid file and bring it into Cubase, it sounds different, it does not sound like its original definitely not amazing at all.
Thank you very much. I really, really appreciate your tutorials. You break down complex subjects into byte size for someone like me who is unfamiliar with tech tools.
Your AI avatar looks almost life-like! You probably used AI to write and present the video, right? Maybe your next video will explain which tools you used for that! 😉🤣
Great...thanks for the photo website :) Do you take requests? I once came across some info about asite letting you enhance old pictures into HD quality....or something of the sort :) But back then didnt pay much attention to it and cant find it now. Would you please know of anything like that? thank you very much :)

Thank you for sharing! I want to start creating content and this will be very helpful in giving. viewers a better experience. Is there a way to transcribe live videos such as a webinar or zoom meetings if they arent being recorded?
@@KevinStratvert I have used voice recorder and can't find how to save to mp3. Can't find where to change setting. It always automatically saves to m4a.
I've read that NVIDIA is coming up with technology that corrects the image live to make sure that the viewer see you making eye contact no matter where you looking at. So no coaching for that will be necessary soon.
Hi Kevin, thank you for another awesome tutorial. I desperately love to know how to use my own cloned voice on Microsoft in Canva to package my webinars and presentation. Can you please tell me how to do that? Thank you in advance.
Spotted at 04:51 that the search box in Canvas says "Search your content or Canva's". No apostrophe needed for plurals. Basic. Sorry Kevin, not your fault. Canva should have spotted this.
Thank you for your expositories on AI tools. They're very informative and they really open my eyes about what sort of capabilities are in the wild now. By the way, I don't think you're an AI character in this video, but you're definitely using a green screen. I can spot chroma key effects from a mile away because I've been using various television broadcasting equipment for over 40 years
@@KevinStratvert I've mostly used Adobe Premiere and After Effects, so I'm not familiar with DaVinci Resolve. I saw the thumbnail for your tutorial on it while watching another unrelated video, so I'll track that down and give it a look
These five AI tools are excellent. However, allow me to assist you in locating the AI that instantly converts a topic into a layout or visual presentation that you like. It's called Piggy Magic, and when I used it, I was incredibly thrilled because it saves me a ton of time and they give fantastic graphic designs.
The report should summarize everything. You could always use a screen recorder like OBS Studio to capture the presentation along with all the real time feedback. 👍
Do you think AI will ever get sophisticated enough to listen to an mp3 file for a solo instrument (like an acoustic guitar) and create note-for-note sheet music for it? What a fantastic new world we are evolving into! If only AI could get our political system right.
Tired to use the Adobe Podcast tool to enhance spoken word audio from an old poor quality recording and it turned the words into gibberish. Yes, the original was poor but you could understand the words. Did not work for that application.
Thank you, this was really interesting! I have an obvious question about Audio Splitting: Does it work for splitting off noise from a recording? I have, for instance, tried to record bird songs, and it is always a problem to get rid of background noise without too much distortion of the song. Maybe Splitter can do it better? I will try of course.
Birdsong sometimes almost _is_ noise, so no wonder it's difficult. If you record, a mic pointing away might catch a cleaner base for background filtering.

Can the instrument separation tool be used with movies too? Getting a clean voice over line without music and sound effects, for example?

Will the audio enhance option allow you to load a video with audio on it or does it have to be just an audio track only?
It needs to be a wav or mp3 file, so you'd need to separate the audio first and then you can recombine afterwards.
