- Cole, Sherman, Austin, and Seth leave Missouri and head west for their last opportunity to get an over the counter archery elk tag in Colorado. It's a three day hunt that ends with the best action we've ever had in the elk woods.
Itll be such a blessing when this becomes a draw for Non Resident hunters. There where more non residents archery hunters in 2023 than resident ones.
I get you... but us non residents funded you guys for years. Careful what you wish for.
Selfish much? What about the family that can no longer get tags for father and son, or husband and wife? Or the group of friends that traveled there together every year? You anti hunters have destroyed your state and don't realize it yet.
As out of state hunters we aren’t too excited about not having OTC options. Hopefully when we do get drawn we will at least see better elk numbers.
I think reintroduction of wolves will not make it likely in the future when a tag is drawn that more elk are seen. I could be wrong but have buddies in Idaho and Montana and there are places that the wolves have destroyed the elk hunting. Us non residents should be grateful that we had the opportunity and still have an opportunity even if it’s not going to be every year. It’ll be interesting to see what the out of state revenues do in the future in Colorado.
@@mervjb809so we should be thanking you for supporting us residents all these years
That's an e l k laughing at you!
Close good effort.
Didn’t even stay at brush for more then a day or two there was a village there lol
I do dig the video tho,
Jooos bos ku
What’s the mule deer population like there?
We see lots of mule deer every time we go out there. Seen a few decent bucks but nothing huge.

Good to hear. I applied CO mule deer last year for the first time but didn’t draw. Did southern units because I’m in NM but next year I’m going to look western CO as well.
Elk hunting is a blast but mulies are my jam.
