A very helpful video, I am part tune photographer and made 100k but always struggles to jump in for full time ..ive made so many videos about newborn photography but I think I need to focus more on growth as a business
The 'snowflake' to 'snowball' is good analogy to describe how if we're consistent and put the effort in what we do at the beginning of our journey as a photographer. I just bought a camera and I'm going to start my career from photography. This video is what I need. Thank you so much for sharing your experience to us, Cassidy. Shout out from Indonesia!
My mom and her husband are currently in Curacao and they love it. They have their scuba diving certifications so they are doing that like every day.. If I go next winter I will literally fly you down!! lol
Can you do an ep about going part time? Do I need an LLC? Should I use HoneyBook? All these extra expenses I’m not even sure if I need only doing photography as a side business
I just watched your short on why you like mirrorless cameras… and that isn’t because it’s mirrorless it’s because it’s a nice camera, there are plenty of DSLR’s that have features like that too, and some cameras are better at that than others. Also, most cameras have that focus tracking feature… it’s just called something different sometimes.
The work full time photographers make suffers because they got bills to pay. It becomes too much about volume and speed. Each image gets very little time compared to what a hobby photographer with a second income can afford to spend on it.
Too many photographer educators glorifying being a full time photographer. It's one of the worst financial decision you'll make. The pandemic should've taught everyone to not rely on one income source. Being a part time photographer and doing something else to earn income or having another business on top of photography should be taught by these educators. Teach diversification of income instead of putting all your eggs in one basket. Stop this FULL time Photographer non sense as this only applies to a small amount of the population. Not everyone can go full time and that's okay!
Aruba is AMAZING!!! We have 4 kids and we have a timeshare there. We go for 2 weeks every year. It’s safe, clean, friendly and all around amazing!!
As a new photographer starting off this video is the best video I’ve seen for advice!! Thank you for such valuable advice 👌
