23:03 if you go to a local University, you'd be surprised how much people would want a sample from that ceiling. There's all kinds of microbiome that is typically Untouched by man. We have found and discovered so many species in caves, on ceilings like this. Any of your Earth Sciences Department, or biology might be highly interested.
You guys checking out that structural beam makes me smile. They were typically pretty well enforced. That looks like a catastrophic failure, and someone came later on to block that. Definitely looks like it failed too they would actually wedge those in. I grew up with my grandfather and father taking us through Old Mines. Some of those Mines being previously operated by the company my grandpa used to work for. That is definitely a cave that you want to have someone waiting outside just in case. Looks like they were following natural lines, in fact, it looks like one hell of a white buffalo Cavern.
Hey, just a pointer, the cave you're in has blue coloured water, so, chances are theres probably some compounds related to copper mixed in it. It can also be noticed with the crystals present on the pole near it's waterline. They were of a light bluish hue, so, again, related to copper. Another thing, in mines like these, there's a fair chance that there's a buildup of heavy gases like CO2, especially as it's a limestone mine(CaCO3). You might die if you inhale such gases. If you're unlucky enough and are exploring a mine near a seismically active zone, say, near a hot spring, there may be something called 'Hydrogen Sulphide' gas in there, one whiff and youre dead.

I think the track you found in the cave was lowered down a bore hole probably from surface, judging by the amount of corrosion on it, it has been there for a long time, iron oxide grows at about 1mm a year. The corrosion layers look about 50mm thick in places so the beam could have been in that location for around 50 years.

Where in Australia are you from? I live in Sydney and I’ve been looking for some adventurous folk to join me exploring and camping through the blue mountains.
Hey guys I’m Mike nice to meet you! Thank you again for taking me along on your adventures this morning. A couple things first off Merry Christmas! Second I figured out stalagmites grow fairly quickly because when we went past the ones on the floor but still in the mine area before stumbling onto the natural cave. They looked to be about a foot tall which the mine is at most a 1 or 2 hundred years old - at most, so that means they can grow relatively fast. Third, when the miners I’m sure accidentally opened up the natural cave it looks like they were forced to stop which was then fascinating to see you guys explore up into those areas including the virgin areas we discovered at the end. Last I think you guys have to be more careful splitting up and going off alone that’s a safety concern. When (name?) went off and discovered all that virgin area it was probably the most interesting part of the adventure but I was I’m not gonna lie more than a little concerned when you said you didn’t know where your bag was and should probably turn around because your lights and camera was about to die! Nooo I was like TURN AROUND NOW! Luckily we all made it out alive but next time let’s be a little more careful that was a little freaky. Thank you again for this amazing adventure I was stoked seeing your post this morning and clicked on it immediately and enjoyed my cup of coffee with it - I have a bad leg and this is as close as I can get to exploring right now. Merry Christmas and I wish I knew your names to say it more personally to you guys. - until next time take care and be safe!
You should watch his past videos, he's done way worse and not too long ago either. Lights dying on him and having to slither back in pitch black darkness? He's done it. Watch him almost drown a couple times by searching the channel.

People have been exploring this cave for decades! My dad went and drew a map in the 80's, and he still has it. Except when he went, it really flooded at all.

My favorite thing about this channel is the endless flood of people sitting at home, like me, trying to give advice to these people who are out doing this stuff over and over again and unquestionably know how to do it better than us.
I won't say where exactly, but in Central Idaho there is a beautiful Subterranean Lake similar to this that was discovered back in the 40s. It's privately owned land, and closed off to the public now because of hooliganism absolutely one of the most beautiful places that my family still has access to upon request.
Hi guys! Have you thought about to sleeping inside the cave, and continuing your exploration the next day? These caves weave the inside of the mountain like a labyrinth! Merry Christmas to you!
Personally I dont think its safe to sleep Inside a cave due to several reasons, but the most obvious one is due to the low oxygen levels and the dust in the air.

Watching these videos always makes me think of Mammoth Cave, it has over 400 miles of explored areas. I went on a tour when I was a teen. It’s hard to believe how many passage ways are under our feet.
The water in the beginning looks so inviting. I wonder what the temp is in the summer. Or does it ever freeze over in the winter? It's crazy how far back, down and up it goes.
Inside places like that, they typically stay pretty mild year-round. Once you get a little bit in there, it's not the frigid horror outside. Usually your biggest concern is water pooling
It never freezes, even if it's super cold outside. A bunch of steam comes billowing into the mine from all the cold air coming in but it quickly becomes the temperature of the earth which is about 57 degrees f. The water is that temperature too
☆Soooo cool! So many intetesting textures and cavernous depths!!! You guys gotta return with ropes!!! Happy New Yesrs, Boxing day, and whatever else is going on! Great show!!!♡♡♡♡☆
This is actually in Kentucky in Red River Gorge. You get to have a lit board and see all the fish which are female. This used to be a mining cave. It's actually a really fun thing to do. If anyone is ever in Red River Gorge Kentucky and wanna do this def check it out. And bring water proof socks to help keep your feet warm. Also wear merino wool Incase you get wet you won't get cold.

Its like backrooms - poolrooms haha
Klas-sic Edward at 20:30, a massive vertical chamber of irregular surfaces deep into a cave that starts deep into a huge mine that took kayaking and hiking just to transition from mine to cave, then way deeper and on his own he gives us this pan up & down of a place so krazy most of us would NEVER seek it voluntarily and after the pan he flips the cam to show himself hanging into the shaft about mid-way verticly-wise leaning into it from some little fuckin crawl tube he sniffed out when the rest of the crew ran out of options. Brother, you got nutz! My kynd of nutz tho. Almost afraid to say shit that might encourage you but I doubt I could influence you either way. For any who doesn't know this guy is the real deal, hit the buttons and check it out. Thank you A&A Ts for the best adventures and fearless exploring then sharing it with us.
I am imagining all the fossils, minerals ,crystals and more to be found down there .... U guys def had a cool adventure !
That water is so blue and clear because limestone acts as a natural water filter.
So can they drink it
Nice one guys, its a Wow from me dudes ! Thnk u ❤️ ❤👍🤘🤘🤘
You guys should watch out for arsenic in those old mines. It’s very common they close a mine because of workers getting sick.
First time watching ~ Dang You’ll have Big Ballzzzz of steal lol That was absolutely Amazing!!! Thank All You Guys, Excellent Adventure Time…
👍💘🌞🦋♾️🦋🌞💘👍
How do you not get lost in the cave?
Ya that's what I was thinking 😅
The water is that temperature too
It would be very cold if we fell out of the kayaks but not so cold that we couldn't just swim back to land
I m not a caver, but this was beautiful.
Thank you ❤
Love from india❤🇮🇳
This is not the Red River Gorge but I was there last month. Stayed dry and rented the wet suit socks for a couple dollars from the kayak tour company.
WOW i lov you guys , just found your channel, just love this❤, thank you guys taking us on this exhibition with you. please make more videos WOW. katie wales uk .👍😉❤❤thankyou .
Imagine converting it into a night club with huge pool lol call it "the underground club" 😅
You guys, i was so nervous watching you walk in and around those caves. Aaagh nooo!
I would be so freaked out!
❤so brave!
Where is this? And can others explore it?
This is one of my favorites so far.
Definitely go back and explore further.
How do you keep backtracking to get out? Is it just exp or you have a technique? Seems easy to forget the turn
We just remember certain shaped rocks or textures in the mud, or the shape of a passage will let us know we are going in the right direction to get back
Wow cant wait to see what is beyond the new area!
That black vinyl bag should be the channel's mascot. Slap some googly eyes on him!
Thanks so very much for sharing 🙏
at 19:29 iam seeing man made brick edges 90 degrees what da f... and also i have a question at 26:21 did it smell of mechanical oil because right there is a petrified massive part of a metal cogwheel teeth and a cover. did you take any specimens of the sandstone with what to me look like oil marks around in a ripple as if ther was a 3 gearbox of cogwheels it si incedable, there is much much more than meets the eye here
Agree on brick
