It's always gonna be like that. The below average singers were clearly just treated like kings and queens by their parents, not necessarily the child's fault. The good ones were raised right. Like they say, no such thing as a bad student, only bad teachers.

Mistermathew999 I agree! Until one point color does matter. There is a certain timbre that one could argue that is typical to one race than the other. However there are some white people that, if you just listen to them you could say they are black and viceversa. In the end color does not really matter.

Cos H Not too long before Nina Simone it was performed by a man, Cy Grant. By 13 year old Carly Rose Sonenclar does it the best of anyone, way better than Nina Simone ever sang it. IMO.
Jack A Well, look her up on YT here, there is one thing of ALL of her performances on "X Factor USA". She sang "Feeling Good" again, in the Finals. She is so smart and such a Pro, that she changed it up. All of her performances were outstanding. She should have won (she came in 2nd), but the viewers fell for the sob story of the winner, country singer Tate Steven, who was just a "journeyman". Nothing great. Info I got on him, is that his career has fizzled out.

I haven't even finished watching this video yet but that one "Some say love....." HAS to be the best performance by far. That performance gave me chills and made me feel like I had to cry my eyes out, and he put sooo much emotion into it. It was so beautiful, I felt like it couldn't possibly be real. Like it was the end of a movie or something. I don't know. I can't even explain how good that was. But I feel like he could easily go neck and neck with Josh Groban

Ella Henderson must have my all time favorite talent audition. Not just a great singer but to come with your own composition and delivering such a powerful performance where you feel every word and every motion from start to finish at such young age is unique.
