This is a master piece on so many levels, that is to say "layers." I saw several times I would have stopped and called it done but, you continues on. The finished product is way better that at any of the places where I would have stopped and been satisfied.

Um.. There's gonna be tons of spots with a quarter to almost half inch of paint drying? Just ribbons of thick ass dry paint.

I don't think that is just paint. It looks like some kind of texture paste. Most paintings should sit and cure for over a week anyway. Plus, there are heat guns and other ways to accelerate the drying process. Art is interpretive. Maybe the raised crown symbolizes standing out or rising above. It is his art, not yours. Appreciate his technique or not...
This is nuts. Pallet knifing the gold in globs. Maybe I'm missing something but that seems disgusting. Who tf is like yea lemme spread this on so thick that it's almost 3/4 of an inch thick
