Last time I went there in December 2012 the snow was so thick that when you fall from the second floor, you won’t get injured because of the snow. I tried once lol.
So much of this city is untouched, still of nature. I remember thinking how much water enters into the centre of this city. There are so many places where the water hasn’t been built over or diverted for its use, it has remained as it was and the inhabitants have built round the natural flow of nature. A great place to visit. I knew a girl who worked part-time for Kodak here, a wonderful charismatic artist who had an affection for making tie-dye clothing in her studio. I love Viking Cruise ship. We Cruise from Heksinki to Stockholm just 6 months ago. It was a great trip. The ship was not new but it was relatively under good maintenance. The room on the fifth floor/deck was quite clean. Comfort. Superb.
I'd love to go to Helsinki... Mainly because it looks so beautiful and I'd love to learn the history... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't also a bit hopeful to meet Ville Valo while there lol 😂 But mainly because I find it interesting and stunning 🥰
@John Afella nope, mentally, Finland and Norway come close in similar culture and morals. Sweden is very different because of liberalism and politics. Many things in Finland is still kept neat, we do many things through and through, it's the mentality. Also we have great food, sauna and real winters.
