Is it too much? Its getting a bit difficult to navigate.. I love the way you had to question your actions! ;-) These are garden problems that I very much welcome in mine. Great tour very insightful thanks Chris.
Whether you think the growth is too think and should be trimmed back is a personal choice. My garden has a gravel path 2 feet wide and I still have a couple of things low growing that trickle over the path a little and a few tree ferns with fronds draping into the aisle and I like that but need to at least have some practical path to get things done and for others to enjoy walking it
Great to see your palms doing so well. I've been wondering, did you ever plant your Washington Robusta in the ground ? I've grown one from seed, it's potted and now a metre high. I've prepared the ground to plant it in late spring next year and will shelter it in winters. Any advice please ? I'm in York and it'll be south facing. Cheers Kris 🍻
Yes I did and it really didn't like it in the ground. Minus 3 was all what took it to die off surprisingly. It needs winter sun to stand a chance in the ground
@YorkshireKRIS ahh sorry to hear that. The position I'll have mine in should get a few hours sun on sunny days. But I'll have it in a plastic mini greenhouse in winter months. Fingers crossed...thanks again.
What a treat….George and Kris videos in one day 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Yes good to see the similarities and differences at this time of year
A treat indeed! :)
What’s gardening like in Australia?
24:35 That is a nice one! Never seen it before
It is and surprisingly resilient
Good to know Dahlia Imperialis is so easy to get through winter outside, I would love one in the future

Hello Chris used to live in Sheffield but now live in Seattle WA USA. More or less the same weather. Love the information you give. Thanks👍👍👍👍
Thanks Neil, interesting to know the weather of Seattle is similar to Sheffields. What's your most exotic plant in the garden?
Looking good Kris, that Schefflera macrophylla really is coming on now isn’t it!
Cheers yes it's a proper tree now,! Maybe I'll cut it back so it branches...

Hi Kriss - At 31:10 in the video you are showing us the Iresine cuttings in a cool looking propagator. What is it called and where can i buy one.
It's called a vitopod propagator. They're really good and long lasting
Great tour . Do you have a link for the propogator? Thanks
It's a hydropod but other brands are available
Hi kris is your soft caress planted in the shade as I was thinking of getting one in spring
