Any thoughts of maybe adding "Loser" by GD? to your list of Jam Tracks? I didnt see it. Thanks
@@georgeclark6057 At some point for sure. It's definitely on my list.
COOOOOLLLLIIOOOOOOO! Thanks
Your welcome
Thanks!
Thank you!
Fantastic. Best way to get better is to play with other musicians. You make this possible.
Tyvm
You're very welcome!
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar what scale do you recommend on China?
@@duanemartin7742 Depends on the section. I actautly haven't played this song in awhile but I think I labeled them all and it focuses on mixolydian. Probaly gonna update this track soon and make it better. Gotta redo Scarlet first though. I've got a video breaking down some Jerry lick from Chinacat: ruclips.net/video/PMxdaDMubW4/видео.html
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar Thank you Jeff. Rock on!!- 🎅
It's very good!
Thanks!
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar this is like bill gates and Steve jobs of backing tracks in the same room

wow--nice--thanks--can we donate to you somehow?
So encouraging you ask! I'm in the process of setting up a Patreon account with 3 different tiers of extras. Should be ready within a couple of weeks. I'll keep you posted.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar Sounds good.

hey dude quick question do you also play the drums?
I wish I did, but I programed them on this track.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar wow sounds pretty real to me!! And I've been playing along since you uploaded the video! Wow may I ask which plugin did you use?
@@NeverTrust298 Superior Drummer 3
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar wow I've the plugin! I'd look some tutorials to make it sound like that becuse I've failed everytime!
@@NeverTrust298 I been having a real drummer play on the tracks since last April so it's been so long I don't remember exactly how I used it. But definitely try using the 'song map' feature. It's great for the fills and changing up the grooves.
How do you leave d mix during the changes to F?
Good question. An easy thing is to use F Major Pent. It's what Jerry often did. He'd just do a simple run up the scale.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar That's where my abilities end. I know D mix and F major, but I've never been able to change scales, over the correct chords in the same song. I have always just stuck to the key the song is in. I imagine D and F share some of the same notes, and I just have to learn to hear the F major tones and highlight them when the song goes to F?
@@thomasbell6834 I used to really struggle doing anything outside of just focusing on one scale, but with practice and time, it'll get easier. For that part with the F to C try just playing up the F Major Pent (F G A C D) and then over the C, C Major Pent (C D E G A) . Don't have to hit all those notes but make sure when the chord hits you play the root of that chord, so F for F and C for C. That'll make you sound like you're playing right along with the chords. I wouldn't even bother with the full F Major scale because the chords change so quick. Hope that helps.
You have not idea how much you’ve already helped me. Best guitar teacher I hav ever, come across. Ever. 🙏🏻💪 I am also realizing that not knowing every note on the neck is hurting me. I can figure it out in three seconds. But that's not the same as instantly recognizing every one like I do in the open position.
@@thomasbell6834 No way, you're too kind! Well, I'm gonna be pumping out as much new content as I can for the foreseeable future while I'm stuck at home.
Hey man.. i was trying to direct message you but can't really find an email for you... as I've said before these are awesome tracks and I think everyone should at least throw you a tip for them! On this one during the first long jam/melody on the E chord there is a slight hiccup that pulls it a bit out of time.. its right a 2:24... that drum fill... I mean the track is killer and I have no idea how you are putting the drums down etc... but there is a SLIGHT time flaw right there.... you might have wrestled with it to get it that close and most of it is SPOT on like all your stuff... anyways.. not a criticism of course and didn't even want to put it public but i could find an email for you on your site or anything.. feel free to erase this. :-) Gonna throw another tip your way while im here too.
Wouldn't be at all like The Dead with a flaw ;) But thanks for pointing out Josh. I'm always looking to improve anything and everything. This was one of the first tracks I made and was still figuring out how to program drums. Definitely gonna redo it at some point.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar well it’s still an awesome track. But if u are going to revisit it maybe check out that spot. 👍🏻
Have to get better at the recording quality so will take any tips but here’s me taking a whirl at this - ruclips.net/video/RIFcF6ardtw/видео.html
your Jerry riff is way off time
What are you talking about. I'k guessing the intro lick, which is played by Bob, and it's in time.
@@dustylense It sounds right on to me.
it's a free back track to practice with---we should be grateful--pun intended
@@dustylense The high part on the intro is Bob
