    ⚡ *Some people prefer softer bushing boardside,* many electric mountainboarders prefer it, I like either same duro or softer boardside, I don't like softer bushing roadside, I just don't enjoy it. ⚡
    Really does depend on the formula for me, the 2 bushings may also have different formulas possibly.
    For most people, softer roadside works better but skating is largely preference based, gotta go with what feels right for you. Great observations/analysis in this video, this will help a lot of riders try stuff and see what they prefer and feel more stable with.
    The setup you went with is what I would likely go with too for a board like this.
    De-wedgin is still great!

    Nice adjustments... first thing i did on my first ride home, was pick up some additional bushings. So I will mess with it, and definitely try your bushing set up as well. PEACE

    They have free ship on these,hows this compare overall with the Pivot GT,wanna get one of these???

    • @ELECTRIC-DNA
      @ELECTRIC-DNA  Год назад +1

      I haven’t ridden a pivot GT so difficult to directly compare. There’s a big difference when it comes to trucks though. The pivot is DKP and the Nomad is TKP. Depending on which you prefer that might be enough to make a decision. Good luck!

      I think the order of them is what really messed it up. Softer than harder is a weird way to put them on imo. But yeah, I’m the original configuration, right about 28 it didn’t feel great to me. Reconfigured it feels great.

    So glad you figured that out! The bushings had to have been installed like that by mistake bc it makes no sense. That’s def why you were catching wobbles! How weird btw, you should def tell them what happened so they can double check other boards going out and maybe send a msg to purchasers. Glad your boards running smooth bro!

    I changed the orange to the back and black on the front on my N1 and it’s night and day. Much much more stable now, where as before 30mph+ very sketchy

    Thanks for the video, just got my Nomad N1 today after the $300 off sale. Immediately took it for a ride and worked up to top speed slowly and immediately around 29 started getting sketched out. Saw your video and swapped the bushings out and its much better. Additionally, the trucks to deck nuts and screws were about 1/3 turn loose, which I admittedly should have checked BEFORE the ride. Something for other riders to look out for though.

    Nice! Thanks for the info bro!! I always thought the darker color bushings are the heavier/solid durometer and the bright color bushings are the lighter ones.

    Great video man! I also had stability issues but my solution was to tighten the crap outta the trucks. Could you provide a link for your safety gear please? I have a regular Smith mips bike helmet and knee pads and I don't really feel like thats enough to go any faster.

      @@ELECTRIC-DNA Hey I still haven't bought the acedeck nomad yet. Still shopping, I'm trying to decide between many different options as there seems to be so many good high performance options these days. I own a BKB duo and was looking at getting the new type R duo with the big motors and trucks. Also the onsra Velar is on my shortlist. Evolve Hadean,Ownboard Zues pro..etc... What in your opinion is the "one" you would go for and why? Bang for the buck/perfprmance seems to be BKB or Acedeck nomad n1. Range isn't as important as ride and feel/torque. I like torque the most, blasting up hills. My BKB so far has smashed hills better than my Evolve GTX bamboo, Propel endeavour S and of course my boosted min x and backfire zealot s.
      I'm only in the market for one more board as I've sold ALL but my BKB and Boosted mini X.

    • @ELECTRIC-DNA
      @ELECTRIC-DNA  Год назад +1

      That’s such a difficult question to answer, which I’m sure you know as you’re shopping at the moment. Torque is very strong on the nomad. BKB has the advantage of being vesc based so more tunable and smoother but I like the deck a lot more on the nomad. Nomad also is gear drive which is great. I wish there was one perfect board but we all know it just doesn’t exist. Best of luck on your search for your next board.

      Hey Dallas,
      I used your code and got the Nomad N1 14s3p molicel p42a.
      I took it for a spin, it's good, tons of torque but the ESC isn't buttery smooth like a vesc based ESC is but it's still so fun.
      I did the bushings swap,(black up front and orange/red in the back. It turns and carves better for sure and stable, I could go full throttle in S+ no problem.
      Thanks for the tips and the excellent review.
