Just a Gay Man's observation from the States: just casually watching some of these Videos; aside from David's comments in his book "Camp David"; Yes, there is definitely a Bromance, a 'mutual Bromance going on there. From the body language and when you slow down the videos, from the Facial Cues, you can easily see this point. If they haven't already 'fooled around' in the sack, their minds have already committed themselves to do so; if happenstance aligns for it. Their relationship so reminds me of a Dude, with whom I worked in the Office with; work-wise, we had only casual contact. But after nearly a year later; even the 'Manly' Execs, joined in the chorus along with the secretaries and Typing Pools Women in openly commenting that you to 'really-need-to-get-a-room-together' and settle your issues. Truthfully, we wound acting like David and Simon. And yes, it just happened, one late, late night, un-planed, working together, in our 'empty office'...we realized, WTH, we really do like each other. He, 'Straight' and having a steady girlfriend and I, acknowledged Gay...moved our Bromance, into a sexual fling and an openly Mutual Bromance.

By the way, for me, it seems that even if Simon likes David very very much, he's unfortunately not attracted to him, in a romantic / sexual way. He's "too heterosexual" to be, I guess.
