Focusing in on just the tuba makes me think of a mountainous obese man in a pinstripe suit and a haircut like either Laurel or Hardy (the fat one I forget which) struggling to waddle in stubby strides to the tempo, squinting his eyes and puckering his lips and trying not to step on the veritable army of stray cats that litter the street, racing towards and past him like a rushing tide determined to trip and send him crashing down into the urine-and-wine-stained street beneath him in a Parisian red light district in the early 20th century.
Grazie mille! Glad you enjoyed the music. We think the tuba works well in our band and Marcus is a very special musician. The tuba can play many different roles. As the great Henry Threadgill once said, "Yes, [the tuba] can blend into the strings section. The bass can’t blend and go from section from section quickly like the tuba can. It can go into the brass section and come out the wind section and go into the string section, and it sits in there like a ghost." (from an interview with Ethan Iverson). Thanks again for your comment.

remarkable camera work that throughout the performance the logo name on guitar headstock (I presume Gibson?) is kept strategically blocked and hidden
That was unintentional, but yes ... a Gibson indeed.
