Hi,
No, Canam would not advise using metallizing over galvanizing, as galvanizing usually provides a good corrosion protection. Moreover, the surface preparation of metallizing will reduce (if not completely remove) the thickness of galvanization. However, a duplex system with paint over the zinc coating may be a solution in order to last longer in aggressive environment.

Thanks for the prompt response.
What i actually meant is that i have the option of Metallizing or Galvanizing for a job both using a Duplex system. We were advised to use metallizing but want to be certain it will be equivalent
