@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 Yes! I lived in the Cass Corridor for 22 years working as a legal aid attorney and being a Citizen's District Council member. I am one of the founders of the Dally in the Alley Art Fair, 44 years ago. I LOVE Detroit and all the people I knew there. I moved to New York in 2001 and then to Ecuador 13 years ago. I would like to have your mailing address to send you a few little things I've made. We don't have a post office here, but I will be in the US for some hours in October and I would like to mail something then. I broke my right ankle AND my left foot in February and spent four months completely bedbound, but I was still able to make a fabulous dollhouse while flat on my back, with no Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or Dollar Tree. (Here's a tip about breaking your ankle. Never try to be a nice wife and take the recycling out at night...) I will share some photos in the future... Tomorrow I'm going to fly to Quito, get on an eight-hour bus, take a four-hour canoe ride down a tributary of the Amazon, so you have to wait.
We're back from our vacation in the mountains without internet. It was lovely, but I missed seeing your new videos in a timely manner this week. What lovely gifts! I love your genuine shows of emotion. Happy tears are never "ugly crying"- they are always beautiful. 🥰
