    ちなみに出演者は帝國陸軍斬り込み隊に所属していた本物です。当時は未成年も多かったが、究極の斬殺術を研究していた師範も門弟もまだまだいたので強かった。剣道で彼らが戦えば負け無しだったでしょうに惜しい時代になった。

    considering jedi practices and swordplay were derived in part from samurai, it's neat to see things sort of come back around full-circle with samurai using lightsabers.

  • @LuciferLizardo
    @LuciferLizardo 10 лет назад +8

    They were actually using BOKKEN (training swords) then put special effects to make it look like they're using lightsabers. And since it is an ancient art, the terms used for the swords are not called Katana (for the long sword) and Wakizashi (for the short sword). Instead, they use the terms Tachi and Kodachi, respectively. But take note how they handle the Bokken on the side as the curve is facing up. The difference between Katana and Tachi is that the Katana is worn with the cutting edge up, whereas the Tachi is worn with the cutting edge down.

      George Lucas was a big fan of old samurai films apparently. A lot of them have similarities with Star Wars such as the coming showdown between good and evil , the suspense of the duel , the characters that help the hero a long the way. It’s threats Tory telling

  • @GetitUnderCool
    @GetitUnderCool 12 лет назад

    well, the original video was about normal katanas/bokken, so there's no incoherency,
    maybe peperon should have cut the parts in wich the practicioners touch the back of the bokkens. and don't forget that in the star wars universe jedi use the force, so they can use telekinesis to create a little distance between their hands and the blade to not be burnt.

    • @김동현-u8b7o
      @김동현-u8b7o 5 лет назад

      There is a scene in the comics where Vader literally grabs a lightsaber with his hand and somehow absorbs the blade. He did the same thing to a lazer cannon's blast so maybe there is a force related technique that allowes force users to absorb energy attacks.
