some people told me I need to make copies of documents and one of the people who needs a copy is the court clerk? Why does the clerk need a copy? I thought only the plaintiff and the judge needs a copy
So, the answer is “both.” The court clerk gets a copy for the file and that file is taken to the judge’s office a day or two before any hearings so the judge can review the file prior to any hearings. So essentially, the court clerk and the judge share a copy.
If someone is awarded a judgement and was told that the court clerk is processing paperwork; how long does that usually take? And what timeline should someone expect to receive their payment for the clerk?
I clerk of courts keeps harassing me at home about a guy that use to live here!!! I'm sick of it! Are they allowed to continue this shit even I've told her I don't know the where abouts of this dude???
Thank you for the insight with this video!
Very interesting. Thank you.
I been looking into becoming a court clerk for a year now where do you advise I start with only a high school diploma ?
I believe you will have a chance of getting a job with such, but the more qualifications you have, the better
Is this a good experience to have before attending law school?
Not terrible to have, but in no way essential
Is the job difficult? I know absolutely nothing about law, can I still do the job?
1. No
2. Yes
If clerk and master committed fraud or was derelict in duty, what recourse do I have?
Almost none that I can think of

1. A couple of days
2. The clerk will not issue you funds. It will be up to you to go and collect the money from the defendant himself
