Nope you don't have to have it! We do map our Sunday Keys template to the NanoKontrol2 so it's plug and play. For this Freedom patch to work you'll just need a mod wheel that sends midi.
For now the Sunday Keys App is focused on the core Sunday Keys experience, with no expansion sound libraries or Song Specific Patches available until after we've fully recreated the Sunday Keys Sound Library within the App. We do plan to bring an incredible Song Specific Patch experience to the Sunday Keys App at a later date. More details will be provided as they are available.

This is a patch for MainStage, there are no sounds being used from the keyboard, it's just being used as a midi controller.
