Henry Rose dark is night and torn are magical! Such beautiful vanillas. Doesnt smell like any other vanilla ive ever tried. Super high quality. Dark is night is a consistent compliment getter. So cozy and warm! Torn is q light vanilla with a touch of florals but not overpowering. Sooo good!

Oh my gosh loved this. It’s awesome to hear you credit others’ style and how they influenced you. I started my obsession in 2020 like many others. After a LOT of sampling and blind buying fails from watching perfume videos I have since stopped watching all of them except for your channel and the simple chic life. I love both of your recommendations and if you both recommend a fragrance, I can bet money I’ll love it. I value the fact that you’re both extremely picky and will only keep perfumes you love and feel like you. I love that the descriptions you both give are so thoughtful and emote how you feel when wearing fragrance. Lastly I love that there’s no bs no matter how much a perfume is hyped. So while I am sure all these ladies are lovely and good at the content they put out, my wallet can’t handle watching them all because I am a weak human and WILL buy them all 😂 That being said dying to try loubirouge and babycat because you guys never steer me wrong and my taste is truly a blend of your tastes combined. ❤❤❤

This was such a positive video and it made me want to check out so many new channels!!! I’ve always been interested in the channels that inspire you! Also I just want to say that your “magical feminine fragrances” video was literally perfect timing/kismet for me because when you posted it, I had just become a Disney cast member, and my favorite thing to do on my days off is watch perfume videos while I’m waiting in line for rides. I also have a ritual of wearing mon guerlain intense whenever I go to the parks… and my favorite princess is Aurora :)

Demi was the first to influence me to buy a niche perfume in 2021. That’s when I really got into perfumery. The frag was Herod and I haven’t looked back since. In that timeframe I’ve amassed 150 frags. Chris is fantastic and she has put me onto some Indie brands that are so nice. Deep nDesire Yacht was another she influenced me to buy.
Sharida got me with Dulce Diablo. That will be a lifer for me. Erin influenced me to buy Lust in Paradise, I love it so much.Sharida got me again with Guidance by Amouage! You my lovely are responsible for Gris Charnel, Liis by the House of Bo, Note Vanille, Ylang in Gold and Possibilities! Great video!

I have been rewatching your videos for “research” and I just bought 10 fragrances this weekend 😅 including Santal Vanille, and my oh my!!!! You are absolutely right about it. I can’t get my nose off my wrists. Tho my favourite of the bunch is definitely Byredo Bal D’Afrique. I realized I cannot tolerate the salty frangrances on my skin, they smell like aluminum/metallic. I don't know if I've actually heard anyone say that searching for a signature scent was how they were introduced to the fragrance community. One could easily sniff around until they find something they like and be done, and not fall down the rabbit hole like we all did 😂
For me it was Katie Puckrik who sold me with her vivid, whimsical descriptions and infectious enthusiasm.
Those descriptions and that passion gets me every time - now I gotta smell it! 😆

My interest in fragrance peaked with covid lock down, the you tube videos helped me make it through those late noc shifts.
Anyhow, i initially followed Jeremy frag, Soki London, Demi, Karina W, Delicious delights, Simply Ayesha, Ksenja, Mila, Alythia, Paulina, the scented, curly scents and curly fragrance. They literally shaped my first mostly designer collection and introduced me to scent profiles and families, etc. Over the years I've kinda settled in on what I like and ventured into niche, and am so enjoying your chanel alot Anne, those woody vanilla notes and clean aesthetics are my jam. Loving Sharida too, she's got tonnes of hidden gems. Jus de rose is so chic and super informative, love her. Gabby just enjoys her thing and says it as it is😊. Chris from the perfume Nest, so freaking calming and classy, shares phenomenal perfumes. Tiff, Monika, Ayesha, Ai the great, Cheraye, cherry bombs, Erin Nicole, Clemence, Charlotte, Lauren.....

Demi is a great influencer i also started watching her first she has influenced me but you were the second and you influenced me to purchase Xerjoff La Capitale lol yes you did girl! I also have Minuit et demi but its not a huge gourmand on me its just very elegant. Sharida is the best I love watching her! I didnt buy Narcotica Diablo but I did get a decant of it to try and it wasnt for me its too masculine i actually dont like unisex because they all feel masculine to me. Chris seems really down to earth she is not annoying either like most creators

I love Chris form the Perfume Nest❤! I used to watch Demi but after she has changed to Niche or very expensive fragrance, l hardly watch her, but Chris! OMG from PerfumeNest is one of my favorite! She does everything from very affordable ( hidden gems) , designer and Niche! ( for all type of budgets) and she always writes you back after you post a comment! Edit: I actually tried Loubirouge when it came out, they have testers at the Scottsdale Nordstrom. But I didn’t obsess over the scent until Ilythia mentioned it 😂 I own the bottle now.

Frassai Teisenddu sounds eeriely similar to Apres by Ellis Brooklyn based on your description! I wear it exclusively during the holidays and love it. Think "By The FIreplace" infused with a festive gin cocktail. It's a beaute.
haha so true, the "scenes" that they give me are quite similar, but the scents themselves are notably different. Apres is more green, woody, fresh, I get that cold, crisp air feeling. Teisenddu has a gourmand quality to it where Apres doesn't at all. Teisenddu has more sweetness, feels darker in comparison, and has more of that classic "holiday spice" vibe to it. I hope that helps a bit!
