My 2 cents: Volante is my favorite delay pedal from Strymon. It combines an easily accessible user interface, good build quality and great vintage delays. For me, there are better delays in that price range, but that's just a matter of taste. Volante would enter my Top 5 easily, though.

Which is your favourite of the bunch? Or is it hard to say becouse they are different for different purposes. I'm looking for a delay pedal atm. The volante has been on my mind for quite a bit but would consider other pedals if they can deliver a similar vibe.
@@Matt-Horizon Very hard to say. I really like the Polymoon but not for tape and vintage sound. The UAFX offers a great sound and imo the best vintage emulations. The Zen Delay wins when live access and a real analogue filter is essential. Empress Echosystem would be my first choice as a solid allrounder.
It's a fantastic synth with a lot of character and for me it's still the first choice for anything Dub Techno. But it is certainly not for everyone and exploring its sweet spots will take a bit.
@@limbicbits if it didn’t have presets I’d probably not have the guts to try it - I feel you on techno: I sort of want to make my own minimalist techno with a mega FM and the Erica LXR!

You’ve used the MegaFM for quite some time! I really want to try it bc it sounds so refined and dirty at the same time.
