@@Lola-zq1iz practiced 2 hours a week (math only) for about two weeks, and in the week leading up to the test i took 4 full practice tests. i listened for about 30 minutes a day for three days right before the test
@@sashabulatova1060 I definitely prepped but not like an insane amount. I think that khan academy practice helped and I took 2 full practice tests to help my timing. I started with around a 1200 on my first test and my prep helped a ton!

@@JL-ok7li Thank you! I took a lot of full practice tests and that really helped me with my time management and Khan Academy also has a great SAT practice plan. I highly recommend passage mapping on the reading section: basically write out a really simple sentence or symbol next to each paragraph reiterating the main idea. This helps bc you dont need to reread the whole passage when answering questions. Also for math, review rules like the zero factoring theorem, quadratic formula, interpreting graphs, circle equations, etc. The best piece of advice I can give you is to not think about the score you want too much. ALWAYS double check your math for dumb mistakes. Good luck you will do great!! :)

I also read the ACT Black Book - even though it's geared towards ACT the strategies were actually useful. Also something that was useful to me was Reddit, and the tips people put on there :) hope this helps!

I found the SAT questions simple and all the answers came to me easily and clearly I had plenty of time to go over my work in every section Every question was simple and I knew the answer almost immediately I got a 1600!!
I listen to this whenever I study for the SAT; so I advise you all to do the same thing too. I also used inspect element on the College Board Website to create a visualization of the score that I wanted so I could look at it while I studied.
Listening to this 30 minutes before my test let’s see how I do Edit: I got a very average score but I didn’t study AT ALL so I see this as an absolute win. Listening to this did calm my nerves the day of the test though. Highly recommend

So I took my first SAT on Dec 4th and I got a 790😭. I barely studied and I had to do a lot of guessing. My next sat is March 12th and I’ve started studying for an hour since Monday. So I took my first SAT on Dec 4th and I got a 790😭. I barely studied and I had to do a lot of guessing. My next sat is March 12th and I’ve started studying for an hour since Monday. I would really like to get at least a 1020 or higher on the SAT this time. So I will be using this as I study for 1-2 hours 6 days out of the week for the next 3 weeks. WISH ME SO MUCH LUCK GUYS.(Also results come out on the 25th of March so about 2 weeks after the test. So on the 25th I will update)
Ah i’m taking the March SAT too. I hope we both get our desired scores :)

@@nancyg8628 ah I was hoping to get around 1200, but I got 1110 which was still an improvement compared to my psat score.
i have my mocks regularly from now on and im in the 1300s. my sat is in november and im aiming for a 1500+ , the universe will be in my favor !

I took the SAT in october and got a horrible score, but i’m retaking it in december and I’m hoping for at least a 1300❤
I’m taking the SAT this Saturday. My goal is to get a 1450 or higher, but I wouldn’t be too upset if I only get a 1420. I’ll update this when I get my results back.

I got a 1330 on my first SAT test, had a 1230 on my first practice test. Taking my next one on 2nd October (in 3 weeks). Hoping for a 1550+. Here I am claiming my 1600!!!
