Thanks for a great cover! I've begun learning this myself, so thanks very much for providing the sheets. I felt that there where a few inaccuracies however. While this isn't a criticism, as this is your interpretation of the song, I felt I should tell you just in case you were interested, as I feel it these changes would more accurately represents the original song. For instance : In the twelfth bar, with the left hand, it begins on a D and continues with a B flat, then D etc, while in the actual song I think the notes are B flat (Below the original D), followed by F, then B flat, basically the same notes as played in your fourteenth bar. Bar thirteen is fine. But I believe the notes in your fourteenth bar are wrong for this point in the song. and instead should be G (Just below your original B flat), followed by D, G, D, B flat, D, G, D. As I said earlier, this isn't a criticism, rather I just feel this more accurately reflects the original song, and I'm interested in your opinion also. Once again thanks for a great cover, and all the best!
Thanks for the comment! You are absolutely right. Not really sure how that eluded me when I transcribed it, but at least the chords were correct, just another inversion. I'm still practising playing by ear. The videos I have on this channel are in fact all of the pieces I've ever transcribed...As such, errors are bound to occur :)
synthicify I understand completely. Those kind of mistakes are ones I make most commonly when transcribing pieces myself. I end up listening and focusing on the same piece for so long, notes within the same chord structure tend to just blend together and sound to similar to the actual notes being played lol, Especially hard with pieces like this, with multiple instruments playing over the top of the piano. You've done an excellent job, I'll be sure to check out your other transcriptions also. Keep up the good work, you've earned yourself another subscriber :)
Dem feelings. I'll be patiently waiting for the piano sheets so I can play this myself (hopefully in the winter holidays :P). Btw, I'm not an expert, but the part from 1:38 - till the end felt a tad bit rushed/could have used even bigger pauses/more emotion (compared to what I've heard from the game). Nonetheless, good job dude :).
Thank you for the criticism! I personally felt the part before 1:38 was not as good as it could have been, but now that you say it, the latter part maaaay be a itty bitty too fast as well. However, the sheet music is now finished, enjoy! :)
Thank you ! You can't imagine how much I love you for playing this song on piano and for the sheets ! I'll go listen to your other Bravely Default covers right now !
Thanks for watching! The general method for recording digital pianos (at least the way I do it) is: 1. Record your performance on your piano 2. Plug a jack-cable in your headphone-input on your piano to your computer 3. Use an audio software, like Audacity (personally I use cubase), to record as you playback the performance from your keyboard. If you happen to get noise this way, the problem may be your mic-in line on your computer. If that is the case I would recommend buying an audio interface. That way you can also record in stereo! Hope this helped :)
synthicify hoo, that a prompt answer ! thanks for your explanations ! for the moment, I tried with Audacity and my jack-cable and the result is so bad !!! It is no longer a background noise's problem but now, my piano's sound is like a water effect. So, thanks for the advices and I hope see this sheet as quickly as possible ! :) PS: Sorry for my bad english :/
Godamn I can't wait for this song's sheet music. Too much feelings. Perfect cover tho!
