I LOVE these old GG songs where he was like English punk. Later he became more hardcore and I loved him then too, but this genre is so innocent in a way. So cute.
these tracks could've been covered by a glam metal band and got famous and maybe had GG on tour with them. but by '85, GG already shit himself on stage. LOL.
@@Soundeagle3456 Had he really began with the shit show that early? I thought that came after that last long time in jail, so around 90 or something. GG was crazy in the 80s but then it was just antics like screaming at people, women in particular, and of course his self mutilation. Have you ever cut yourself with beer can or whatever you call those metal containers? They're fucking sharp as scalpels! I had no idea and I went mental one night with one of those, what a fucking blood bath! You don't feel the pain either because they're that sharp. Ah, good old days 😁
@@friedrichwilhelmvonhohenzo5962 Truth be told, his shit show has nothing to do with punk. Neither his golden showers. That's was his thing. But the violence and bloodbath has absolutely to do with punk. So I definitely don't see Pistols as tame, I LOVE Pistols and what they stood for, especially Sid and Rotten. Rotten is still to this day just as angry as he was back then. If not more. Such an awesome guy!
Had the pleasure of playing a split bill with gg and the jabbers at Ron's House of Punk in New Haven, back about 1980. They knew 6 songs, so we did our first set then gg played. Amazing stage presence. After our second set, they repeated the same 6 songs until the police came in and politely said it was past our time to close for the night. Great memories, thanks Ron and, I guess, Mark as well!

There’s a video (circa 1984) of the first song. It is classic!! - I got this ep 7” reissue, none of my cds have these songs-anyone know if a gg cd has em?
You guys who have this on vinyl, don't sell! I had some great records back in the day (and I mean back in the day for real, before the internet, CDs, & sitonmyFacebook). I lost them during my crazy youth.
Las primeras grabaciones de gg tenían todavía algo de power pop, siendo que ya existía el hardcore punk más extremo... Pero eso les da un toque pegadizo

Yeah he was still goo looking
Funny how his later antics make classic punk look so pedestrian. He makes the Sex Pistols look like the Archies lmao
