Good science to follow along. I hope they can figure things out to the point to bring something useful to beekeepers. Let's keep an eye on them. Thanks for watching! Cheers
the immunity of bees in large depends on the diet ..... bees starve most of the time or feed on monoculture .... pollen is especially important here ..... plant species are disappearing while the number of toxins in modern agriculture is increasing .... there is the key to the problem of why bees have poor immunity today .... just like ourselves.
@@InsideTheHiveTV You're welcome. Favourite honey is all honey lol I love all kinds but if I only could choose one or two honey's, Irish wild lily honey or lavender honey. Your favourite?
Hi Humberto, do you know of any projects that are working on making viral testing affordable for hobby backyard beekeepers? I seem to vaguely recall such a project being worked on somewhere in Canada ( possibly through the National Bee Diagnostic Center ) few years back but can't find any info on it. Beekeepers would be sent a collection vial to sent back with bees for viral testing at an affordable price.
I am not aware of any. The problems that there is no demand and people will not invest to create something that will not bring profit. The beekeeping industry unfortunately is not big enough to bring big investments.
Thank for all the work and effort you put into the subject.
Well I always learn something when I watch "Inside the hive " , always interesting more than any other bee channel, THANK YOU 😊
Thanks. Very nice of you and it is good to know that the content is helping. Cheers.
Sounds like they are heading in the right direction!!!! Thanks.
