Hi, this is a great video! I believe I need to replace the bearing ball of the wobbler as well. How do you take off that nut @ 13:23? If I don't remove that, I can't take the gear and shaft out.
I cannot get the big bold nut off. It just spins and the saw blade holder goes up and down. I have tried to jam a screwdriver in it to hold it still but it feels like I'm breaking it when trying to turn the socket wrench. I'm talking about that nut at 13:20. I can't get it off. Any advice?
You have to bolt the fwd housing on 1st, which engages the gears. Then tighten the nut. Then remove the fwd housing if you still need to get inside. It helps if you have an impact driver also.
hello maybe u can help me...my reciprocated saw dewalt was working and suddenly stop working...I shake it and started working again...so the saw die i shake it and started to work until one day no more. No money to buy another one...no guarantee and no money to pay the 89 dollars plus tax...so i u can direct me what can be i will try to fix it...thanks

Its left hand threaded.

Do like I did. Just google the exploded view diagram to find the part numbers. Then google the parts you need.
SHOULD HAVE FLUSHED THE HOUSING WITH KEROSENE. ALSO REPLACE THE SHAFT FORWARD SEALS (MAYBE 67 OR 52). THEN REFILL SOME 100CUBIC CM OF NLGI 00 .
